We Played well, the referee was good, KCB were discipline and Gor fans behaved quite maturely because we lost fairly. Well there is always next time but we should remember that the title is on the run because if we do not take care, Tusker might run away with it. Wake up!!!!!
Our finishing has to be checked properly. We play good game but without finding the back of the net,we have nothing to show for it.
VS KCB
Fantastic response from our fans and lets hope that victory will come our way this week
Official, finishing, we create very good chances upfront lakini hatuzi convert, u need to do something if we are to compete kwa this league vile inafaa.
If our players makes it a routine ya kuzimaliza tu sana, wasee tutakua tu mbele sana.
Remember, Ko’Ogalo ndio team peke tu ya power kila msee angependa kuji associate tu nayo mbaya.
long live kogalo
Gor Mahia, mid-week clash should not only be entertaining but a winning team with bigger goal margin, let us beat AFC 5-0 so that we can boast alot, beating AFC does not only make me happy but gives me an opportunity to tell fellows how hard we are on the pitch.
We must beat Leopards (Kwach) tomorrow to revive the better momories of the 80’s please give us the line up.
Half time Gor 2 Leopards 0
Full time Gor 3 Leopards 0
Long live kogalo
James Kosero

leopards utilized their only chance. it was not our day. that is football. no blames. no regrets; our boys gave it all they had. lost chances were many but am sure the coach will work on that. we are the arsenals of kenya; good display but no goals. am not crying about todays results ‘cose am seeing a formidable team of the future.
Chances were there unbelievably for K’ogalo but chances were not just in it, we give it up to the boys for this was a game well played. If you observe well Gor is playing well this season as compared to the other season though most funs went home disappointed the league is not yet off and the culmination will be Gor ending up with the mantle this season. Lets await Sher Karuturi’s game on Sunday. GOR BIRO!
Very Sad day. After such superb performance? Enyewe it is said, at times the best team didnt win. But now let’s plot for Karuturi…Sunday. May all sytems go this time….I hope SS Shows this one live. BIG REVENGE SUNDAY, GOR BIRO!
I wish the officials would address fans and explain what they are doing to rectify the situation and what fans can do
pole kogalo fans!problem is coach zeddy!subs was wanting!blackberry was tire after shoot three blank shots, instead of tapping!tactics of gor were wanting!this are not times of power shooting!placing is the thing!
we are a great team and all is not lost for this season despite the leopards setback in a game we dominated, did everything well but score.lets hope tomorrow brings out the best in our attacking game.
Kogalo are in good track…..!!!kudos.
kogalo hoyee.our game is improving day by day and i pray that by the beggining of the second leg, it will be all systems go. kogalo fans, i enjoy being with you cheering the mighty gor lets keep it up and attend all our matches. BOB SIMBA
An koro aol thoo…… what I had in mind as the best match turned to be agonising, me being beaten by Abandu FC no way I loved there challenge and am waiting for the return leg at City Stadium I just hope that we perform well till then….What I would like the players to consider is the goals scored, Kitawi, Odhiambo and Ochieng stand up and show us what your legs can for us on the field we need a cup to restore PROUD……eeh eeh eeh eeh eeh
zico should know how to field his players by now. physical fitness is also lacking and an immediate replacement of awilo who is ageing up also required.otherwise we have agood team that only needs our commited support.
we play good football but goals matters alot so coach do something pliz..
Please Mr. Chair, Sec. General & PR who are joining us or who are leaving? We are on the dark and let’s us this site to the maximum to inform and educate the Kogalo faithfuls. Keep us posted.
I clearly remember that during the last AGM which aborted last year, the delegates agreed to form a company in the name of Gor Mahia Ltd. which was proposed by a Mr. Okello McOchuodho and the secretary was them Mr. Kodera. I wonder what is happening to this company? Is it there or it was just one of the big elephant?
anybody who has an idea on this please inform. Gor fraternity is concerned.
hello..am not happy with what i had…a nigeria strike that comes to gor mahia was chased away in the camp in loitoitok just becos of self intrest of the team manager..and they told us the performers of the strike and the good qualities of goals sense he have …and this is what we are lacking…they have to get the boy back to the team we fans are not happy at all…
Jo, don’t worry nad let’s give support for those they have chosen because the technical bench knows exactly what they want to spice up the game. Meet in Nakuru on Sato 3rd July. Good luck Gor Mahia.
Am excited to be in the executive and as well be among the fan base. Am sure with everything ok ,Kogalo will win this season”s title
You are the most vocal and organised supporters, and i mean supporters and not fans because of both your material support to the team.
From now on 6819 is the short code for Gor Mahia.
To register send the message GorFansClub, followed by your name to 6819.
Inform as many as possible, and all the facebook members.
M’cOwitti, am glad that you read this page and have put your comment. Please tell me, what benefit is the club getting in return by registering to this number? Is this different from the branch membership or not? please inform.
I look 4wd 2 a good win 2moro as we take on Tusker FC.
Young and United!!
For those looking for Gor Jersey’s I found some at Uchumi supermarket, the one at Aga khan walk.
vs Tusker
Good performance though alot of chances went begging
Secondly, it was nice to see our fans turn up in large numbers but sad that not everybody joined in the singing, chanting and dancing
Lastly, would be nice to see our admin management team more involved on the day of the match.. we elected you as office bearers and we expect you to be more visible during matches.
1. Where can i register as a member of Gor Mahia FC
2. What does the membership mean for me, the fans/supporters and the team
3. How can i play a more positive role as far as Gor Mahia FC is concerned
I attend all matches - home and away, i proudly wear my Gor tshirt but am gutted when i see our boys hoping on to matatus after home matches.
It pains me that we still have to train on a pitch that is not ours and the boys do not even have proper training attire..
Guys.. what can we do to raise standards and to professionalise this team that we love so much…
Congratulations to the Gor team (players, tech bench management & fans) for the good job against Breweries on Sunday. You are inching closer to the KPL title. Keep on believing in yourselves young lads and no one will stop you. We are proud of you.
The boys are good. Akumu is surely our Viera. Okoth was great. The defence is good. Midfield also perfect and so is the attack. I believe the case of Okoth (off the ball) is like that of Zidane, that Tusker player was following and abusing him all the time; the authorities (KPL) must also give him a hearing b4 rushing to any conclusions.(As Nakuru fans we followed the game on Supersport)
Could the management of K’Ogalo answer this; which is the official logo of Gor? Even this web page home has both the old & the new logos, even new players’ jersies have the old logos while others have the new one. Zico’s jersey also has the old logo.WHICH IS WHICH?
I have many facebook friends and am ’sambazaring’ 6819 to them. Let this fund help Gor players & team in general and not end up in the pockets of officials. Long lve Gor!
Let’s take them one by one. I mean forget about Chemelil win, Tusker win and let us now focus on Western Stima. they are stubborn but it is now time to take them head on. If we win at Stima then nobody I say team will stand against the Mighty Ko’galo. WATCH THIS SPACE!!!
Ilove Gor
K’ogallo is the soul of flamboyancy of football in the Kenyan League, anyone with doubt should ask Tusker Utd who despite their financial prowess could only find themselves two goals down, hehe! Go on lads, the league is all ours to lose.
i have a feeling this is Kogallo year!
i want to be involved in Gor mahia’s support, how can i join the support club?. I can see the title comming home
Ayie Ayie Ayie Gor mayienga mayiengo piny brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Western stima we are coming for u. The vuvuzelas are all cleaned up. Prepare to dine in hell.
Dear Officials..
Are you listening to us?
Please participate in this forum.
Is the match against Western Stima on? I am asking this because Musa, Viera and Abdimalik will be in Sudan with under 20 team.
I SALUTE GOR NAIROBI FANS. YOU HAVE FOLLOWED THE TEAM EVERYWHERE & EVEN OUT SANG HOME SUPPORTERS. U HAVE USED YOUR OWN FINANCES. U ARE TRULLY LOYAL.God bless u all as u help K’Ogalo this weekend at Bukhungu.(If we win this match then no other team will stand in our way)
For fans in diaspora how about posting some links of previous games on the website
the masika mohammed combination at the back looks really promising it can be a good patnership
I read on Tai Atieno’s CHOBO magazine on facebook K’Ogalo has been invited to Drogba-land (Cote de Ivoire)in September to play top soccer including against Brazil’s Cruzeiro. Managemnt confirm.
Confirmed!Great!Let the boys fly.It is on the international stage that K’Ogalo belongs.Africa recognizes your potential.Fly brothers, fly.Sky is the limit!
The two back to back wins should set a no return force for Kogallo young stars, though we are heading to Western and 6 of our players are in the national team, we should aim much higher and win this tie. We have all the guts to clinch the title this season. All roads leads to Kakamega on 30th July and we are requesting fans from Kisumu & KK to boost the raiders morale. GO! GO! GO!
Thank you all K’Ogalo fans for your continued support and advise. our strategies are working just keep the faith and patience focus on ‘The WAR’ and leave the BATTLES to the Exec cmtee, tech wing and playing unit ‘u aint seen nothing yet’
This is good news .Go Kogalo Go. we are with you 100%
mmmmmmmmmh mouthwatering. Self belief is the key to success. If the guys continue playing like they are i can assure you there will no place for late comers on the terraces. Men i came 10 minutes to the game against Tusker and i sat at a very bad angle at the center stand, always ducking my head. We shall see guys coming in at 12 noon to book vantage positions like the old days gone by. Can anyone remember those days?
Yeah, I remember, Mike. I used to start lining up for the ticket at Afraha as early as 10 oclock so that by 3.30pm I would enter the stadium. Just in time for the kick-off!
The PM has always supported K’Ogalo morally & financially. Also with the improved sponsorship from supersport, consider buying a team bus to ease players’ transport.
Best of luck for the Western Stima match this weekend.GOR BIRO…!
ulinzi its pay back time. Gor is coming
Bughuku stadi ero wabiro .. gor malo malo
Kama kuna team yenye inashinda na inacheza matope ni Ulinzi.I think its just the physical fitness of the soldiers, nothing more; no soccer at all. K’Ogalo confine them to where they belong!
FC GOR MAHIA great job please keep the tempo and remain focused for the title.
Proud to be associated with Kogalo, can’t wait to be back in Kenya and watch the boys again.Good Job finally we are back.Go Kogalo.
Go kogalo.Bring back the glory days.
Every time I load 100 bob credit I give 10 bob to K’ogalo by messaging 6819. Support Gor. We must be great again & we cannot achieve that by not being financially stable.GOR YEEEEEESSSSSS!
Lets go for Ulinzi,go for goals not only points.
thanx @peter ohany for that info.i didn’t know that line of support was open. at least now i’ll start immediately.
AFC wanajua tu kutukazia. Look at what Sofapaka did to them. Fake kabisa!
Ogwang en ogwang. Let’s aim now to catch on Sofapaka because Leopards didn’t have no match no myaw - Bure kabisa. Our matches will start on early September then goto Ivory Coast for a week tona kisha final streach.
Wololo yayeh! In which forum can fans storm with opinions to develop K’ogalo? When can management be left to the young & dynamic people who’re not affiliated to politics? I am not pointing a finger @ any leader, you’re doing just fine but what next? Could you for example change your e-mail address to for example xxxx@gormahia.net instead of the ugly dubious gormahia…@yahoo.com? Come on, you need to wake up! How dare you put such an eddress yet you’ve an official website, ama wahusika hawaelewi mambo ya tarakilishi? We also need membership eg Gold, Silver, bronze etc through which we can support Gor i.e. monthly or annual subscriptions. Then, how about msingi wa kesho through feeder units down in Nyanza? Don’t you notice we’ve a helluva talents there? WACHIEW URU JOWADWA, PINY OPIRA OSE RU!!!
Bravo to you guys keep the spirit of the eightys (80’s)burning we are proud of you THE MIGHTY KOGALO God bless you.
K’Ogallo is the darling of Kenyan soccer,no doubt about that. What i can appeal to my fellow die hard fans is to maintain good discipline, sponsors r on the way coming…WATCH THIS SPACE…!
Yes, if we (fans) maintain our discipline we will get a mighty sponsor and sign the best players in the continent.Mighty K’Ogalo fans, we must continue to maintain our discipline both in good & bad times.
Hey, is the game against Mathare still on? I cant seem to get any info anywhere. Seriously speaking the idea of the 6819 sms is great but my worry is how will the incoming money be accounted for! I suggest the account be managed by an independent reputable body which will at the end of the month hand over the money to the officials and with that we will know how much has been raised. I can assure you or i believe it will open doors for more monies from people. Be assured there is nothing people are afraid of if the money they are co tributing is not accounted for. This might just give potential sponsors a go ahead to get in full blast. This is just the team with the best technical ability around.
CONTRARY to earlier assumption, Gor Mahia’s Kenyan Premier League matches will be played as planned despite the club having four players be away at the Cecafa Under-20 Championship in Eritrea between August 14 and 28.
However, one match earlier scheduled for Wednesday — versus Mathare United — at the National Stadium, will now be played on Saturday.
Gor Mahia have been allowed to postpone the match because they have more than one player in the Harambee Stars side playing Tanzania in a Fifa Day international friendly in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday.
Gor Mahia assistant secretary, Ronald Ngala, said on Tuesday that the KPL had indicated to the club that KPL matches would not be postponed on the grounds that a club had players on national duty in teams other than the senior Harambee Stars side and on Fifa approved internationals.
Ngala therefore urged Gor Mahia supporters to note the actual situation. His statement said: “Contrary to the earlier assumption that a team can apply for postponement of its Kenya Premier League matches if it has more than one player in the national team, Gor Mahia will be forced to miss services of Anthony Akumu, Musa Mohamed, Duncan Owiti and Abdimalik Mohamed who will be doing duty for the country in Eritrea during the Cecafa Youth Championship kicking off on Saturday in Asmara.
“According to the fixtures released today by the KPL secretariat, the Mathare United v Gor Mahia match which should have been played tomorrow [Wednesday], had Harambee Stars not gone for an international friendly in Tanzania, will now be played on Saturday, August 14, at the National Stadium, kick-off 3pm.
“Asked about the Fifa/KPL rule allowing clubs with more than one player in national team to apply, if they so wished, for postponement of any match involving them, the KPL Chief Executive Officer, Jack Oguda, responded that the rule did not apply to junior teams.
“ He [Oguda] further clarified that it was a mistake on their side [KPL] to have accepted the application from Gor Mahia to postpone their matches against Western Stima and Ulinzi Stars due to involvement of junior team players in the recent 2011 African Under-20 Championship qualifiers [against Sudan in Khartoum and Nairobi respectively],” Ngala’s statement concluded
Kudos Kogalo for securing us an office at Riadha house. Be open and transparent.
i just hope the game with mathare will be ours to win.lets all paint the stadium white and green.i have already bought my green jersey and cant wait for this cracker….gor ma’kogallo wabiro!
Update some information on the club’s contacts! I thought Gideon Ochieng’ is no longer the headcoach. And who is the assistant coach?
Hail Gor Mc Gallo
Awuoro yawa! The boys did a wonderful job against the marines. KUDOS Gor players and all fans!!! It was a rare spectacle, will you please maintain that tempo?
kogalo good play masoja jana waliona moto songa mbele
Now that our question about a website has been answered, am again wondering why Kogalo fans do not respond to serious queries on the website.
For example, sample out comment No.35 on under General Comments about GM’s official logo. Or do we leave it to ‘Atwaras’ of River Road to print fake GM jerseys with fake logos. Omera en mane?
The dream is nearly there. This is our year lets cheer our teeam to retain its Glory.
I wish I had done computer engineering thus I would have helped in the development of a good gor mahia website. with video clips of ya playaz, playaz prof & history & when foreign coaches have a look @ the clips then u will have a greater chance of selling ya playaz overseas for good money & profit thus contract will follow then big teams will want to be involved with Gor then the rest will be History
Let Gor playaz not limit their dream to only think of the EPL league holland also has very good teams like Ajax & the rest where by playaz can only go there for a season or two then get noticed. holland leagues r very open for african playaz trials look @ nearly all the nigerian playaz they started to play in holland & france eg jay jay okocha sunday olisheh babangida babayaro west etc etc. SO i urge blackberry & ngwa to look for clips of their play then send it to holland or germany or france or any club then wait for the results then all will b fine with them
yeah, pod arito dwoko no; official logo en mane? which is which, the old logo or the new one?
I am a long time fan of Gor Mahia. The only way Gor Mahia can Succeed in Africa at the moment is to become a a professional outfit complete with own stadium and club house(s).Gor Mahia should be a Company just as other succesfull clubs in Europe South America and Africa. Running a club on handouts from fans is not going to take this popular club anywhere.
Kudos to our boys!! I was at the city stadium after a long time to see Kogalo do damage to posta and realized what i have missed since my days as a student (in starehe) when i never missed a single game at city/nyayo. Am back and ready to contribute as a supporter and fan. How and where can i register? Am a doctor; any way i can be of help in my professional line?
KUDOS Kogala.where can i get GOR jersey?Raundi hii ni yetu.
What we need to do is continue giving suggestions but more importantly act. I think Gor should buy some few acres of land chaeply even if its in Kajiado. Start developing it. Construct a stadium. Have various divisions such as football and the commercial division to assist in selling its accessories. in short it should have buisness development managers to push it forward. It should use its stars in marketing and branding products. Blackberry would easily sell in Orange, Zain, Nokia, Samsumg name it… I love when I see Gor employing outside talent it should even go further to recruit more internationals. Gor is great and management of its affairs should continue being professionala and corporate strategic plans uptodate. the future is GREEN…
kizito good point & lets hope the people who matter the most get to see the comment plus u can get their contacts in this site so th@ u drive the point home as for lawrence th@s a great idea coz I was just thinking about th@ too bad I am not doing comp eng coz I would have helped in developing a good website th@ will help to sell Gor in the map of the world kudos we need more people like u eg lawyers doctors counselors etc
I too need a Gor Jersey in Mombasa. Can a fan from MSA help.
Long live Kogalo.
We are back with a bang and we are tipped to lift the KPL this seasno and we shall lift it no matter what Gor is Gor again
We are playing KCB on 11th at Nyayo as from 5pm. Come one come all. Ehh Gori ehh we dewo.
