Brief Statement from Admin

Of late there have been some glitches due to new software that has been implemented to run this blog. This glitch has resulted in some posts being deleted by the server, some experience a delay before their post appears on the blog.

This issue is temporary. The admin has been spending some time in the evenings working to resolve this issue. I am hoping to resolve the issue soon. Your patience is requested.

In the meantime most comments (95%) will appear on the blog succesfully.

I would also like to re-iterate that the main aim of this blog is to bring Kogalo fans and indeed all fans of football together to discuss issues pertaining to the club and to bring fans together to discuss ways of raising the club to greater heights. All fans of Kenya Football are also welcome to discuss issues pertaining to Kenya Football.

Any ideas for this site are welcome. Any suggestions on how this site can be used to help strengthen Gor Mahia FC are most welcome.

So let us continue to support Gor Mahia FC, support all of Kenya football and push the club and Kenya Football to greater heights.

@Admin you deserve to be recognized in the same line as EK for your contributions towards not only engaging K’Ogalo family in interacting , discussing and debating their internal issue’s but also extending the same olive branch to our brothers and shemeji’s from INGWE in joining us to move our football to the next level. Thumbs up and Kudo’s.

Ooh La laa I am back to join bloggers in K’Ogalo.net. And I will start with @Jakoyo

@Jakoyo Please be reading OBITUARIES in the dailies or listen to “MATANGAZO YA VIFO” through kbc radio. Most of the legends you are mentioning have graduated to the next world nine feet under. When you attend our matches please find time to chat with JBO the guy is very humorous and he will update you accordingly. Even if you are on the other side of the field you can Still cross over after the match and you will locate him in the changing room. Unless you are an official member of the diaspora in the SOFASET BRANCH like @ Albert Kosero uko kampala UG then I will understand why.

@Jakoyo welcome to Mbaraki sports club and you will surely meet “Breakdance” anytime Bamdari F.C is playing. He works for KPA, retired from competitive soccer but still as fit as a fiddle.
I believe that even Jojo ‘Fundi’ is in Mombasa but rarely in the limelight.

@3 Ogango Trailler your responce to Jakoyo holds no water. Tim Ayieko, Abbey Nassur and David Oti were all Ugandans even played in Uganda national team I dont expect their funeral annoucenment to be made in Kenya stations. If dont have an answer then you better not respond.

Admin we appreciate the work you are doing. Keep up. Also be updating GM Facebook regularly like futaa.com does if at all you are the same person doing it.

@3 Oganjo Trailer – welcome back you’ve been so quiet. @5 GORBIDDER – I think the EC has read your remarks which have previously been pointed out buy Pareiyo, Mwakio, etc and will act accordingly. @JABILO -welcome. You’ve been supporting the team from Accra, etc.

EC printing tickets is tantamount to ( a deliberate loophole for) the EC stealing match collections.
    Consider the following:

None other than the S.G Bwana is on record that match ticketing & security services were advertised, tendered for and suppliers chosen. The following are the companies that tendered for GMFC’s ticketing and match security services as per the tender ceremony on 09/02/2012.
a)G4S Security Services-4 Both ticketing & security service
    b)BM Security-4 Both ticketing & security service
    c)Ticket Master-4 Ticketing services
    d)Easy Electronic Ticketing-4 Ticketing services
So who is this PAUL OBONYO that the EC is now engaging. Why bypass the above reputable firms and opt for a dubious individual, thereby risking fans lives.
As per TM, GMFC (read EC) is now printing tickets for matches. The only purported security feature on these tickets is the GMFC stamp at the back. No doubt you’ve all noted that EC’s tickets are plain and more easily forgeable compared to those that used to be printed by TM.
Controls have been eliminated (deliberately by the EC) coz unlike b4 when (1) TM used to print the tickets then (2) hand over the tickets to GMFC for stamping (3) GMFC would then hand back the stamped tickets to TM for sale, thereby eliminating the chance of TM selling “unstamped/fake” tickets.(4) On entry TM/GMFC stewards would be on hand to ensure that only genuine ticket holders entered the stadium. GMFC stewards checking that all tickets are duly stamped.
WITH EC PRINTING MATCH TICKETS YOU CAN BET YOUR BOTTOM DOLLAR THAT EC IS PRINTING EXTRA TICKETS WHICH ARE PROBABLY BEING SOLD AT A CHEAPER RATE IN THE BLACK MARKET. THIS IS EXPLAINED BY THE OVERCROWDING (ESPECIALLY THE VIP SECTION) AT THE STADIA AND THE MOVE BY THE EC TO OPT FOR THE SERVICES OF PAUL OBONYO AND THE STEWARDS. THEY ARE PROBABLY THE ONES SELLING THESE EXTRA TICKETS WHICH IS WHY THE EC OFFICIAL PROTECTS THEM AGAINST THE POLICE AND TM COMPLAINTS.
THERE IS THIS FALLACY THAT FANS DO NOT DO ENOUGH FOR THE CLUB. THAT’S A BIG LIE AS FANS ATTEND MATCHES IN DROVES ONLY FOR UNSCRUPULOUS OFFICIALS TO SWINDLE FUNDS MEANT FOR THE PLAYERS/ BENCH AND THE CLUB DEVELOPMENT. THE IS NO BRANCH THAT CAN RIASE FOR GMFC KSHS.1.6M (LEAVE ALONE THE KSHS.0.6M LOST ON 9TH) IN AN AFTERNOON.
THE TEAM/ BENCH HAVE DONE THEIR BIT BY PLAYING GOOD SOCCER, THE FANS HAVE RESPONDED BY COMING BACK IN DROVES BUT THE EC SEES THIS AS AN OPPORTUNITY TO EAT AND DESTROY THE CHANCE WINNING THE LEAGUE /MAKING GMFC THE BEST CLUB IN THE WORLD.
THE S.G RECENTLY WENT PUBLIC THAT RUNNING A CLUB IS AN EXPENSIVE AFFAIR, I SAY NAY BUT FILLING THE EC’s STOMACHES CERTAINTLY IS.

@ GOR BIDDER I am no longer skeptical about the EC ( Read G.Bwana and F. Ochieng) and very much feel your concern for our safety , security and accountability for our funds.
Surely there is more than meets the eye in this whole saga and very soon heads will roll.

@ Allan Audi be informed that I schooled and played football with Hezbon Omollo though he was a head of me. My god friend passed on my comrade if you dont know. Martin Ochieng swaleh alias Oswayo the ziwani “UMEME SPORTiFF” fullback with long throw ball and physical defending tactics also passed on if you are in the dark my friend. All this happenings were in the daily and we attended the “Chokrupk mar liel”.

David OTTI was a coach and not GOR MAHIA player during the golden days of kina JBO and yes A. Nssur and T. yieko were legends from UG but for your info this guys went to UG and retired their life in Kenya na Kama ujui kwamba wali aga DUNIA uliza JBO my friend.

Yes Ben oloo “breakdance”is still in at large PWANI, but FUNDI used to work at KPA yard along MSA RD in Nairobi , he is still very much around lakini chini ya maji. JBO played with all the legend mentioned by Jakoyo and he has all info at his finger tips. Stop bothering Admin or next time you will demand to know where is George”Best” Yoga, George “Ayuka” , Okello”Zangi” , Dan Odhiambo”Kenya one”, ODUWO “Cobra” or Jerry “YIMBO” as if you do not update yourself with what has happened during their life time. Or you will ask where is Sammy”Kempes” Owino or Nahashon Oluoch “Lule” who will all know that they are in Nakuru and Kansa (USA) respectively. Admin can not feed with you everything , Zingine tafuta kwa the one legend JBO.

@ Allan Audi who told that if you hail from UG and you used to play for GM your demise will not be reported locally. Style up my friend the world nowadays is a single unit and stop reasoning like someone who is not living in the current e-technology revolution.

So sad that some of the Gor legends have passed on but such is life! The great triumphs and pleasure they gave us remain memorable in our hearts. On Nassur Roy Gachuhi had an article about him in the Nation just recently. Is he not still with us?
