Coach Kerr speaks highly of Shaban Odhoji
Goalkeeper Shaban Odhoji was signed this year from Ushuru. Throughout this season he had not seen any playing time given that he was the third string keeper behind Boniface Oluoch and Peter Odhiambo. But when given an opportunity, Odhoji acquitted himself very well, making a number of incredible saves against Western Stima on Wednesday, thus ensuring that Kogalo continued their winning ways.
Coach Kerr commended Odhoji on his social media pages:
“A good professional works hard never complained did his training and made amazing saves when needed well done Shab” said Kerr.
Prior to the game Kerr explained to Odhoji why he had been selected for the game.
“I said to Shaban ahead of the game that he will play not because we have won the title but because he deserved it and had worked really hard in training. His attitude and character is great and he proved it with his performance especially in the second half with some great saves,” Kerr said according to soka.co.ke.
Odhoji played for Ushuru in 2016 and was voted man of the match when Ushuru played Kogalo. He pulled off save after save in that match. He has also played for Muhoroni Youth, Nakumatt and Nakuru All Stars.
With three excellent goalkeepers, they will all understand that they have to continue to focus and work hard.
So which players do we offload to bring on board fresh blood ???
@Jakoyo
Khalid Aucho is available. They should try to bring him back
Simple offload Mugiraneza or send him on loan to ingwe and bring back Aucho
Well done Shaban. Endelea kuweka bidii
Congrats keeper. Retaining your sharpness despite having not played shows you have discipline.
Jakoyo, as a keen proponent of fixing it even when it works, kindly give us the names of those that you want out and the proposed names to replace them. As for me, we only need to strengthen our defence. An additional midfielder is needed.
Lets purchase Humphrey Mieno, Ovella Ochieng from Sharks and kure Vincent Oburu from ingwe in a swap deal with mugiraneza to create room for Aucho’s return
