Felixinho Signed

From michezoafrika.com

Gor Mahia has signed Nigerian defender Felixinho Nwosu to complete their transfers for the January period. Nwosu joins from Nigerian club Enugu. The bulky player has been spotted  on the sidelines during several Gor Mahia’s training sessions.

“We have completed our signings today. Nwosu will provide good defensive options for our team. We are now ready to conquer Kenya and Africa,” Gor Mahia’s  Sec General George Bwana told michezoafrika.com.

Meanwhile the club will not sign highly rated  Tony Balotteli Otieno for now. According to club chairman Ambrose Rachier, Otieno is still contracted to another club but they will try to secure his signature after six months.Bwana echoed the chairman’s statement by saying,

“Balotelli will be part of our squad once the paper work is complete but that might extend to June”

They better be careful that Kogalo is not banned by CAF for signing an ineligible player. Make sure he is properly vetted and has no outstanding contratcts with Enugu Rangers or some other team. Otherwise we welcome Felixinho to the team. And we appreciate his enthusiasm

This is to both the New Signings and the Older Players: Welcome to The Green Army Family my brothers. The badge you (New Players) and your equally talented group of players are about to represent is of honor. It has been donned in the past by real gallant sons of Gor Mahia. The list is endless and include among other people but not exclusive: The great 1987 Mandela cup victors, such as David Ochieng Odek and Tairus Omondi as Goalkeepers. Our Defendence was marshaled by these legendary men; Tobias Ocholla, George Sollo Otieno, Jaffer Mwidau, Peter Otieno Bassanga, Peter Ochieng Pier, Austin Oduor, John Bobby Ogolla. The mid- field was anchored and built around Abbas Khamis Magongo ably assisted by George Nyangi Odembo, George Onyango Fundi, Charles Otieno, while In the wings we had the speed merchants- Anthony Ndollo, Ben Oloo and Sammy Onyango Jogoo. The deadly and potent attack was led by William Obwaka and Peter Ochieng Dawo, who emerged as the top-scorer or Mandela cup 1987 with ten goals to his credit. This piece of writing is just to remind you guys that the task ahead may not be easy, but your predecessors have been there and they have conquered the continent. I believe in your abilities and I know you can do it. Go go go go Gor Mahia and the chance to greatness awaits you. This is your chance to write your names in the annals of history of this great team- Team GOR MAHIA.

Oga cannot be that mad to walk out of a valid contract back at home, he sure looks genuine. Our defense is now solid. On paper the team smacks of talent. We must convert this to results. Can’t wait for the new season to begin.

why not try and sign Balotieno on loan pending permanent transfer. I watched him when played kisumu combined and at times i confused him with the likes of Oliech. He gave k’ogallo defence no peace and at his very tender age, he may just be snatched at Gor’s nose
