Gattuso now denies he is leaving
In the latest twist, combative midfielder Collins Okoth “Gattuso”” has rubbished reports that he is leaving the club. Reports in the Daily Nation had quoted Gattuso saying that he was intent on leaving. The reports were confirmed by club official Ronald Ngala.
Gattuso has now denied the reports.
“I am not leaving Gor Mahia, those are just baseless rumors from people. Yes they have my money, it is true, but I am not leaving,” says Gattuso according to the report on goal.com

The best thing to do to Collins is to let him play where he feels his interest is best served. He has a life and a family to take care of. We should empathise with our players especially when they go for months without their salaries. It is hard to explain to ones family why you owe mama mboga and landlord yet you leave for work everyday. Our EC. should think of getting a sponsor or small ones who can pump even 5m to the club every month because that will go a long way in. solving this issue of non payment of salaries.
