Gor departs tomorrow for Dar-es-salaam

After being bundled out of FKL cup and not engaged in the KPL matches due to involvement of National team in CAN qualifiers, Gor Mahia is heading to Tanzania to play two friendly matches against soccer giants Simba SC on Saturday 4th September at the National stadium at 4pm before traveling to Arusha to meet Young Africans popularly known as Yanga on Monday 6th September at Sheikh Abeid stadium. The trip is organised by CXC Africa (T) limited, a sports promotion company based in Dar-es-salaam.
Charles  ‘Korea’ Omondi assisted by veteran Zablon ‘Pro’ Otieno will head the technical bench while Jolawi Obondo and his assistant Maurice ‘Ole Tunda’ Ouma are among the delegation together with long serving team doctor Samson Ogutu.

 
 Francis Akang’o, Christohper Wekesa, Solomon Nasio, Musa Mohamed and Eric Masika will mann the defence in the absence of Julius Owino while Anthony Akumu is back in the team and will do duty at the midfield together with Collins Okoth, Tonny Onyango, Wiclif Opondo, Duncan Makori and John Kiplang’at. Baldwin Ngwa will definately miss his regular partner George Odhiambo upfront though Duncan Owiti’s presence will definately cushion this worry. Newly signed Andrew Murunga will also have a chance to appear in Kogallo’s jersey in the absence of Abdimalik who has been given time off to clear holly month of Ramadhan while Fredrick Onyango will be a sure starter between the post  with Ronnie Kagunzi compltes the list of 18 players and 7 officials.
