Gor drops five, signs the same number
Gor Mahia FC has beefed up its defense, midfield and striking force during the one month window period with signings of a central defender Evans Anguyo from Uganda, defensive midfielder Collins Okoth formerly of Tusker, attacking midfielder Wicklife Odhiambo formerly with Chemelil Sugar and two enterprising and exciting strikers Andrew Murunga and Abdimalik Mohamed from National Talent Academy Nairobi. The latter is a sensational striker from North Eastern province, who earned himself an instant nickname of ‘Odimwinge’ by the locals at Loitoktok due to his agility, prowess and power he puts behind his shots despite his slender posture. Meanwhile the coach has terminated the services of Brian Osumba (proceeding for further studies abroad), Isaac Okoth, Moses Ouma, Nicholas Ochieng (has so far joined Mahakama) and the Cameroonian import who will be released on loan to another premier league club in the country.

Again technical bench are not doing the club good at all. There was a promising Nigerian striker who cfame for trials but the technical bench failed to look at him further. The Nigerian by name Abby is a goal poacher. At least the team should have considered this lethal striker. My comment is not against the technical team but they overlooked at this guy who can give us lots of goals. I appeal to the technical bench to reconsider this guy before the closure date of the transfer period. Chairman please relook at this humble appeal. This guy is a very good striker.
What about Oush? Francis Ouma, formerly with Mathare? I had that he was also training with us as well as osborne Monday, is it true ?
As I understand it, Oush is in Australia for trials. he is not joining Kogalo. Too bad because Kogalo has no goal poacher.

Abdimalik Mohamed aka “Mash” aka “Torres” is the young lad Gor should look upto.he’s the goal poacher who gained the name “elnino” which is the nikname of Fernando Torres of spain from Nairobi locals when he was in high school.Rasul al akram for that matter,let him be given the chance and you will see the outcome
Apparently Collins Okoth has gone to Belgium for extended trials. I wish him success. Its high time that more Kenyans made it in Europe.
Gor should seriously consider developing its own talent for the future. Either they start opening up a talent academy, or they can collaborate with a proven academy. The days of running a club from a bar or the terraces are long gone. We need a long term sponsor who can shell out at least Ksh 15million or more. Has Gor worked on a club charter or strategic blue print for the next 5 years? We have the largest dormant support in the country, and it is high time we cativated these sleeping cells. I know with positive support we can getto the next level. The Kogalo passion is unmatched in East and Central Africa, and it is time to harness this into financial and administrative management. Let us back our mouths/vuvuzelas with our pockets.
Kudos and good work to those who maintain this site and others like Gor Mahia facebook. Eventually we can have these sites centralised and supported to ensure a prime product. The whole world needs to hear the booming voice of Gor Mahia again. “Gor Biro, Yawne Yo!”
The best striker in Kenya at least,Abdimalik Mohamed,this should be his stepping stone,lethal like Torres,agresive like Rooney,committed like Tevez,n wonderfully swift like Messi. Do us proud mi broda from another mother.
Matofa, you are absolutely right. Gor needs a Strategic Plan (Blue Print), a physical office and an Administrator to see the smooth running of the club in a professional manner. Let’s give Malik, Murunga, Kiplagat and Kisuya a chance. It’s the coach to blend them into great footballers.
I personally have faith with this team and let the Gor fraternity think of what Matofa, Paul, Rianga, the Kampala fellow and others have in mind and pick the positives on them into use.
