Johanna is a good player but locally you can still get better and affordable players for that position. Palos and Zoo have some very good players but are not exposed yet

You mean players Baron Jobita, Wellington Ochieng, Luke Ochieng, Anthony Mbugua and the others signed in 2016?

    GMFC needs CHANGE.

Let all GMFC players earn kshs.300K per month as a basic wage.

    Happy to be home

After a push and pull, calling for his two month salary and air ticket, the former Macau SC of China forward had his way on Thursday 1 December as he was cleared before leaving for his home, Rio de Janeiro.

“I am happy to be home. I arrived on Friday, the family is happy that I am around. I can only apologize to Gor Mahia fans for not doing the expected – scoring goals. However, it was not my fault but the officials’. I did my part; I attended all training sessions and other club activities only that I couldn’t feature in competitive matches.

“I feel sorry for Gor fans because they had a lot of expectations in me but that couldn’t be fulfilled because of the management’s decisions. I wish them the best in future endeavors and I say goodbye to the entire Gor fraternity,” he told Soka.

    Kshs. 300,000

Despite not being part of the team in the league, Top 8 and domestic cup matches, Silva was on a monthly salary of Kshs. 300,000 with an apartment and local transport.

P.S One gives a very elaborate list of 10 point list (which I totally support) but paradoxically asks you to elect a person who for +8 years, in office, has not implemented any of the said points. I appeal for you to be rational its only caterpillars that metamorphose into butterflies.

    @ Jamigori, good point

    11. Let the club executive come up with members open days calendar to help in bonding and educating members on core values of the club.

But do you realize that every GMFC home match is a potential OPEN DAY especially games on a Saturday / Sunday.
GMFC can have foodcourts in the Nyayo parking, bouncing castles to entertain families and these close 30 minutes to the game and families are encouraged to attend the games. Club values can be promoted to such days.
Note with with online-registration and voting EC has a bigger platform for promoting the club but scrap double headers.

KEY IS GUARANTEEING SECURITY ELIMINATING TICKETING / MERCHANDIZE CARTELS

You have 11 very good points and am sure such ideas flood AR+Co.’s desk everyday but they have done nothing for +8 years.
Yet you want us to vote for him, so we wait for 8 x 11= 88 for nothing to happen. Do you see why I ask you to be rational.
PROVE TO US HOW YOU OR ANYONE CAN GET AR TO SET UP STRUCTURES IN GMFC INSTEAD OF HOODWINKING EVERYONE THAT HE IS BANKROLLONG THE CLUB.

@Oduor12, your are right however the candidates offering themselves for the position of chairman do not meet the required threshold for the position of the chairman and this is the main reason I am still vouching for Ambrose Rachier. I do not know what Okech and Hooligan can offer.

@Jamigori agreed. We may not see things the same way for different reasons but that is acceptable. What is important is everyone airs their views. While for me its Chris because of his stated policies, which he has taken time to document unlike Dan, for you its AR because the other 2 don’t meet the threshold. In future,as I said before,I wish GMFC is run by a board of 5members each serving for 2years whereby 2/3 persons resign/are re-elected yearly so there is continuity. The description & duties of most EC positions may also be a turn off for many.Personalties like e.g Prof.Magoha who have dismantled exam cartels recently just may be interested in serving as board members rather than vice chair, secretary general or asst. treasurer which are surbordinate positions. This way members can reach out to people with proven skills.

@Oduor12, I love the idea of board and you are spot on regarding the composition of 5 members. My only worry with Hooligan, once he is elected, he will resign and run away. Thus guy I think is unreliable but he has some very good ideas.

I think that Johanna being a good player, I still think that he still has some ground to cover. This I say because Gor is thinking regional and matters continental. I think one or two more seasons if still around then that could be the time for him join Gor. However, I am not oblivious of those other clubs chasing for his signature. Regional and Continental games are a different ball games. Some things that come into play are, Physic, Maturity and Skill.. Secondly, when it is mentioned that AFC is at the front row and Tusker on the chase, you can rest assured that Gor has no chance. The two front runners would rather loose him to one of themselves than to Gor. I am Talking about Kimanzi influence. Anyway these are just thoughs.

I’ve always said let Johana be signed now or they want to wait till he becomes like Kelly before signing him. They talk of signing local players Batambuze and Kavumbagu locals?
