  • That is avery good squad & it seems that BW is planing to dominate the region as he did with uganda. And if that will come to pass then I think that K’ogalo will never be the same again. I wish that we win CECAFA club championships under BW. I also hope that we K’ogalo also make it to group stages of CAF CL tournament. Kudos to TB 4r recruiting players & not names.K’ogalo forever.

Jakoyo I thnk I cn give u some info.I don’t knw him bt I happened to b in Kisumu 4 Xmas m attended a friendly match btw Gor n Western Stima where the guy was fielded along wt Shakava. I suppose they hd come for trials. The boy is a wonderful striker with great ball handling n holding techniques. He was beating akina Wesa at will n created two goal scoring opportunities for himself from very difficult situations. After the match I hd a chance to speak wt Rachier,Ngala n Ouna and asked if they could snap him up.They told me they were as impressed as I was bt could nt promise anything as BW hd the last word.Am happy the boy ws good enough 4 Bobby. He may b the next big thing in Kenyan football. Watch ths space

  • It is Quite uplifting to Note tht football brains, skills, talent & potential seems to hve carried the day on the recruitment of players. Thank you for retaining Solomon Nasio, our faithful, resilient & hard working deputy captain. He deserves this kind of honour after such a long and dedicated service to the Club. As for the team, I hope they ready to defend the Kogalo flag.

Looks like the best squad in a long long time! And BW sanctioned every signing. I see Kogalo dominating soccer in this region for a long time. And we shall make strong forays in the CAF champions league too! Whatever level we reach this season, am pretty confident we shall give a good account of ourselves in the champions league in the next 2 or 3 years. Can’t wait for the soccer season to kick off!

Like I said this is now BW’s own selection. U cn see the seriousness & he must have had reasons 2 take hard decisions like:
    1. releasing the so called promising Gauchos, Angelos, insisting on the Kengas & Kizitos.
    2. as a coach whose done well in Africa, opting 4 GM instead of Yanga,
    3. is aware of GM’s fans demanding nature,
    4. resisted the attempted bizarre imposition of Ziko.
For the first time I don’t see EC influenced signings eg JaBrazil or players coming 2 recuperate so i say let the ….

let the games & the countdown 4 BW begin. There might be the usual talk of ‘geling’ or that other teams have recruited well but its really now upto 2 BW’s coaching prowess & EC/fans creating & maintaining a conducive enviroment. The first 5 games will tell, the elections will tell, fans behaviour will tell.
Let members also make HARD DECISIONS. LET UA VOTE B 4 THE PLAYERS ITS THEM WHO COUNT NT OFFICIALS, WE DON’T NEED 11 OFFICIALS, WE NEED A FULL TIME SECRETARIAT, PLAYERS NID MEDICAL COVER, MOST..

OF ALL I JOIN THE APPEAL 2 ERADICATE HOOLIGANISM (NEW EC MUST BILLBOARD THESE “HUMAN WASTE” AS WELL AS CORRUPTION AT THE GATE) SO AS 2 BOOST ATTENDANCE.

I RESTATE COLLECTIVELY THE 200/500bob EVERY FAN PAYS OUTSTRIPS THE PUBLICIZED CONTRIBUTIONS BY ANY INDIVIDUAL. ITS THE ORDINARY FAN WHOSE COLLECTIVE “DEEP POCKETS” ARE RUNNING GM HOWEVER CLEVERLY THE SOME OF THE MONEY IS “RECYCLED”
AS APPEALED TO ADMIN PLIZ GIVE US THE LIST OF ASPIRANTS AS WE STRIVE TO:

@Oduor12,on streaming the executive committee from 12, it will be members who will be present during the AGM that can make proposition and the matter can be voted by members to adopt the resolution.

On bloated office, we bloggers should not blame the executive but blame our Gor Mahia fans that made a resolution during one of the past AGM to expand the office bearers to 11 excom members. We should also blame our members for not attending the AGMs when called to make the desired changes in the club management hierarchy. The big blame is on us for not attending the AGMs to articulate and discuss such good ideas for adoption by members.

@Oduor12, please can you confirm whether you have send this good proposal to be part of the AGM Agenda to the Excom, proposing to downsize the existing number of officials from 11 to 5. This proposal should be send within 24 or 48 hours before the AGM date to be included as part of the agenda for the ordinary business discussion during the AGM. This is how ordinary business are discussed and resolutions are passed by members during the AGM and such proposal can be presented to members for voting during the AGM for adoption.

My free advise to all bloggers including @Oduor12 is that such proposals should be forwarded to the executive to be part of the annual general meeting or AGM agenda so that it can be adopted by members during the AGM. However making such proposal in this blog will bear no fruit at all as this site is for blogging alone.

jathur@16…i couldn’t agree with you more.lets fully rally behind the team as we also give them time to blend and form a formidable playing unit.
Meanwhile as fans we must also shed off the bad character that some of us have and give out a positive image to attract more fans and sponsorship now that we will be involved in continental assignments!!!

  • Kazi ianze. Good squad.

Herbert ‘Kompany’ is straight from Kanga High. He must have shown real potential to join this team.

The elections will be peaceful as the noise levels seem to have gone down. I’m not sure if Adede is still in the running but his end is very quiet. The last time he updated any of his events online was last year before the aborted elections. Could he have joined Team Rachier?

George Bwana, has Situmbeko refunded Kogalo money? Or was it your own cash? If yes, then you need to defend your seat. I still believe you have performed better than any recent SG.

Lastly, of all the stakeholders enjoying our league win, our sponsors seem to be the most quiet. What is going on at Tuzo? Take advantage of this moment and push the team to achieve even more.

This squad represent the face of Kenya.Kudos to the EC.Some us have pointed out that the Central defence has very little cover and coud be our Achilles heel.I would like to name players who can slot into that position:
    1:Emuge
    2:Calabar
    3:Cassava/Kashava
    4:Mohammed
    5:Oluoch
    6:Akumu

I think it is the left fullback position that could have been beefed up.However,I am just a supporter.I agree with what the TB has done. They know the talents at their disposal and if they think it is sufficient for the task at hand so be it.

That is a nice squad. The only person I thought would be dropped but has made it is Solomon. However, the technical bench knows better so I cant question much about who is coming and who is leaving. Just like other fans I can only air out my thoughts.

Secondly, there is one blogger who mentioned some time back (last year) that Kilo had gotten a lead to sponsorship in South Africa up to a tune of 200 million. How did that story go or it was just politics? Someone tell me pls.

Other sponsorship – what is the office doing about the same? Who should look for sponsorship?

Walter – the biggest sponsor for Gor are the K’ogalo fans. if we mature, behave, inspire the team. the rest will be easy.

waaah!! peaceful elections now is only. what is left. Rachier. please make sure the environment is favourable to all aspirants.
Stone throwers keep off the election area. we want the season to start on a high note. we don’t want acts that will demoralize our playing unit.
The squad is strong & congratulations to the chairman, secretary general & vice chairman. Ngala. for working tirelessly through out the transfer window. not forgetting organizing secretary. Nyandega.
fellow bloggers to me these people deserve re election even though GB &NYANDEGA are not defending their seats.
For those who were criticizing BW style of play you can now read according to how he has done the signings.
We are now set & let the second rumble in the desert.

  • This is a winning teami.e In TPL, it has the prowess to even do better in continentals in 2/3 yrs time, . . so we be patient on continental issues, but I trust the experience of Berry, n Rama(Smartfone) to help guide the rest.
Luckily, we have been able to hold on to Calabar, woow!, . .shows the intention of the team, forward we move, to HOOLIGANS, your days are numbered, . . .we have no space in this society that belongs to you,. . .refrain from HOOLIGANISM.
