    Afc leopards will definately fumble in the last few games. I predicted earlier that the tusker vs gor mahia and gor mahia vs thika united matches will decide where the title goes.

    Am happy , very happy indeed with the scoreline but not at all happy with the performance. We must not loose focus of our new signings as tusker fc is reportedly chasing Humphrey mieno,Osborne Monday, Wesley Kemboi among many others……………..all departments must be beefed up.

  • I hope the Tusker game will be open as our players thrive in open games. The Muhoronis and Karaturis will always trouble us since their aim is only one, Do not lose, never about going for the win. As @Jakoyo says we really need to beef up the team next year. We are becoming predictable with Rama and Danny. Daddy is providing good coverup for Pablo and we also need good cover up for the front duo. Otherwise @Mwakio we still need your prayers for the three remaining games. But guys is still only me who is concerned that we are not running down our opponents? We seem to leave it late in recent matches

    @Dan I echo your sentiments. Lately we’ve really struggled scoring in the last 3 matches and in our match against Tusker we either need to change approach/tactic or prepare for a draw if we don’t change tactics. Otherwise so far so good.

    @no 1 and 2, Lets thank God for the win today and just be positive, at this level of competition, it will not be easy even if you have what kind of players. Just refresh your mind to last years end of EPL, Man City won the league the last second of the season. No team is easy and every team wants a win. Alot now depends of staying focussed and positive and when all is done, it is left to luck or for those of us who believe in God, God’s Blessings!!! Lets pray for one win at a time as we support the boys and the technical bench in our hope for a good ending in this season. Judging from where we started, ending at no.10 would have been a blessing, BUT GOD has brought us this far, Lets thank HIM.

    @Dan, Jakoyo and WAB you guys are right to raise concern about our sluggish play lately. One hardly sees any urgency for goals. Kevin Omondi and Jagoal appear to be the only players who are still fired up.

    @Dinga has observed before that some of our star players seem to have forgotten the mission and want to please the crowd. Were it not for want of scoring a glorious goal, Odhis Dube should have put us ahead with the pass from Rama in the second half. Boys it is not a question of fatigue: you just have to keep your eyes on the ball. No excuses. Remember where you have brought us from.
    Then there is this tendency to pick silly yellow cards! I call them silly because the are absolutely unnecessary yet they may cost us dearly. I believe there are less obvious ways of wasting time if you really have to.
    All in all we thank the team and God for the win.

    Our performance has gone down. We are now depending on luck to win Matches! We have to contend with Tusker and Thika united in the last three Matches! Let us just hope that the Spirit of K’Ogalo will protect us.

  • i will put this without fear or favour; if i was logarusic right now i would give rama a warning letter. what i saw yesterday was one of the most poor shows of football. none of these guys can even give an accurate pass. the only guys who is taking football seriously in gor is ssrenkuma and the goally and the official gor defence. at least their consistency exists in the matches they have played. but the other so called star players need warning letters. odhis cannot pass a ball accurately! at least he was defending on the left flank so his contribution can be vindicated. but as a midfielder pls forget.what is it that these two guys have to bring style (read show off) everytime they have the ball.it’s so dissapointing that ths guys are being considered for kenya team. kevin omondi is ok but he so badly wants to shine(read score a goal). lavatsa is also one guy who takes his job seriously but with this planless midfield then he really has one tough task. i have not seen this new gor play that logar is supposed have brought to gor. if guys can give the stars coach only one match to judge him then logar u urself are really approaching the sell by date. but i repeat, the afc and tusker matches will make or break u. the kpl league teams all have teams of more or less the same calibre… so it’s down to the coaching. gor needs to work on two thngs;
    1. tactful executable plan to score a goal;
    2. precise passing from midfield.
    as i asked before, did the sofapaka disease spread to gor? this will be known nxt weekend. thse guys have clearly achieved what they never expected and are behaving like they just won the world cup. a child eats and once it’s satisfied asks for the granary to be burnt.

    Gor Mahia EC, please stay alert and tie our valuable players to longer contracts. I was at Mbaraki a week ago to watch a friendly between one TPL team from Nairobi and a local nationwide league team. One thing that came out clearly as I mingled with the fans of that big team is that that team is salivating over two players who joined GM this season from coast. They argue that one is just too good and the other is being wasted at Gor yet he is an international and this team has the money.

    I implore our EC to take this matter seriously. The two players in question are very key to our future ambitions. In fact the claim that one of them is wasting away at GM is baseless because it is thanks to that player’s brilliance that GM survived the penalty shoot-outs and reached the semis of FKF cup.

    Ehehehehhh……the game of 28th October 2012 will be the league decider and it is good INGWERIANS will have won their 28th game on saturday the 27th October so we will have the honour of attending in our full white and blue official hoops.Definately, not to cheer GOR GOONS FC simply because it is an “office team” as confirmed yesterday against Karuturi sports when all your stars including the ones you dream of Kenyanising were unable to even penetrate Karuturi defence.As some of you are speculating,INGWE does not need players from GOR GOONS FC who have backbone problems!

    Gor will not win the league thanks to our coach and some players who think they are stars at Gor. Disjointed play and time wasting is what characterise gor matches since that win against ulinzi. The entire midfield is in a mess. Moses odhiambo, Rama and abondo are taking the club for a ride, these guys totally lack seriousness. Loga too need to show some seriousness because his players are getting unnecessary cards foq time wasting and I have a feeling that they do as instructed by the coach.
    Bob Ogolla should be given control of the team and this loga guy go coach wherever he likes. He is earning too much yet we are not playing any better football than the time of zico.

  • @Disi, thank God I know some Ingwe fans like @Omulutsa who are civilised. If you follow the postings on this blog and yours you can see the big diference, it’s like daylight and darkness. Thank God Ingwe is not winning everyday so that you to be able to manage your primitve energy. If we draw or lose does not do you any good unless you have already bagged the remaining nine points. Plse look at the log as you used to tell us not long ago and the tuth shall hit you. The fact is that we win all our matched and you win all yours the positions won’t change. GM or Tusker loses and you will still be trailing. We will do our talking on the field ignoring fans like you. Remember when you carried a ref for a friendly all the way to Mombasa. Never heard of such before, but that’s none of our business.

    Thank you @Dan for the advice to Benson Disi. I cannot add anything, however, he should realise that he has not answered The Mutunga Question. @Benson Disi are you Khalwale?

    @Mcosweto I feel your frustration but I don’t think the lethargy has reached the Technical Bench. These boys just need to be talked to. The Chairman, Tech Bench and Branch Chairmen should have breakfast with the boys and just re-invigorate them with some pep talk. By the way, someone tell me about the motivational dinner that was supposedly held on 21st Sept before the derby.

    It’s make or break for Kogalo. I did see some lethargy in our players but it smacked more of underrating karuturi than players getting drunk with winning nearly all their matches in the second leg. Obviously that will not be the case with Tusker on Sato and I expect the boys to up the game and carry the day. We just need three wins and we’ll be champions and our mentality will change forever. U go boys! Kogalo for life!!!

    I want to remind comrades that wining a match or scoring a goal is not easy as some ppl may think. A match involves two teams both equaly fighting for a win. No team goes to the pitch to loose. So whenever Kogalo plays any team our players must fight it hard to score a goal and to win. In the league there is no small team. As much as we expect a win in any action let us also be prepared for a draw or a lose, that is what foot ball is. And you can not play the same speed, same quality all through. But this does not mean our game is deterourising. Let us not condemn our players at this crucial time they need alot of motivation and support. GOD BLESS KOGALO.

  • Well said @George Ochoro. We must, as fans, expect that at one time the results will not go our way. Unfortunately at times it happens at that time when we least expect. It’s called Murphy’s law

    Let me Join Dan to add suport to Occhoro’s view point and unkindly advise other blogers here that no competion is easy unless you earn a walk over. Between Gor and Afc who should be disgruntled by the bench or players considering that at one time we were 17 points adrift? It now appears we are a very thankless lot. The bench and the boys are fantastic being in FKF and league contention not forgetting keeping Supper 8. I beg that at this time lets give the boys the morale to keep up the fight to achieve this ever elusive trophy. Any body doing the contrary in my view is an agent of our opponents which should not come from Jagor at tis point in time.

    Gor Mahia is more sure of winning the league trophy than winning the Super eight cup already won, do not bother with bad mouthing from these stray fans.

    Truly GM played pathetic football against Karuturi, it appeared like they took the match for granted.

    A win is a win though..Ingwe you will just wish for our loss till you see us lift the cup..better begging believing my first sentence above..we only await confirmation.

    Yes we laboured very hard to bag the three crucial points and we now look forward to a mouth-watering clash with the defending champion tusker to know the fate of the title.

    At this stage of the league what matters is winning the game through mental confidence and self believe. That is why MATANO was picked to rescue TUSKER from sinking deep after PAMZO had eroded the team.

    I only pray that our bench should understand how tusker are very physical and name the first eleven wisely.
    MATANO’S strategy are very predictable and so is logarusic. We need LAVATSA’S speed and DADDY creativity from the word go. So much are won by the team the makes the least mistakes and so please talk to our defenders to avoid schoolboys mistakes. TUSKER are goos poachers.

    MATANO will apply mathare’s strategy of opiyo mastering the midfield and sending long balls to very speedy players likes kagogo,oyoo,ndege to force our defence to back peddle and fumble.We need LAVATSA’S speed and DADDY creativity from the word go.

    Such matches are won by the team the makes the least mistakes and so please talk to our defenders to avoid schoolboys mistakes. TUSKER have very good and fast goal poachers. BUT YOTE YAWEZEKANA KWA IMANI YA BWANA.

But I always believe that Gor will deliver and the bur will have muoched.Let us therefore keep cheering them on. It is a fact that no Team comes to the Pitch to loose but to win.All our opponents are turf that is why tact and patience is the way to go for the final delivery.
