Gor Mahia edge Muhoroni Youth 2-1

Gor Mahia are now gaining a measure of consistency. As the league resumed after a 2 week layoff, Kogalo consolidated their lead atop the KPL standings with a 2-1 win over Muhoroni Youth. Both goals were scored in the first half by Timothy Otieno.

Additional reporting from the Nation

Gor forward Timothy Otieno scored a brace in a span of six minutes to help K’Ogalo to a routine victory, a result that maintains new coach Dylan Kerr’s 100 per cent start with the team in his third outing.

Otieno’s first came on 22 minutes, when he directed a Jacques Tuyisenge cross from the right-hand side past a stranded Muhoroni keeper Gradus Ochieng with his first touch.

The second arrived six minutes later as Otieno again found himself one-on-one with Ochieng’ after a free-flowing move that had involved Tuyisenge yet again. But this time round, the Harambee Stars trialist directed his effort into the far right-hand corner of the goal.

“I enjoyed every moment of the game because everything I tried came off well,” an excited Otieno told Nation Sport after the match. “I thank the new coach for giving me this chance to lead the attack today.”

Kudos Team, these are crucial wins/points. Nice to see Muguna getting some play time, indication of no hard feelings between coach & player. GMFC / FOOTBALL IS ABOUT WINNING TITLES

Good team effort with TB and the players, the kind of relationship needed to win titles not the insanity and blame game culture that some clueless zemaria brought to the club.

Just 20 points shy of the pyschological 60 points mark. Hehehe, and did I hear 4 straight wins ? ….now 6 more wins and the league is as good as over…

Thank you Sir Ker and entire TB esp the Playing unit for the consistency in posting positive results. We had been made to believe that that expecting 3 straight wins in a row was akin to a footballing miracle but we have 4 going strong. Now that you have steadied the K’Ogalo ship, open up an insurmountable gap at the Top and leave other teams trailing and misfiring. Ze Maria on your failures at FK Tirana please look for antidotes elsewhere, remember you left us we didn’t chase you so struggle on your own and stop looking at Mayienga players for possible salvation.

Vihiga 2 and WAIT….!!!!, those people Nil. Vihiga run rings around drunken Tuskers. Come home brothers lets fight for the big one now. Did anybody watch that young Vihiga defender donning number 15 and that Ugandan donning number 27? These are the kind of players a coach worth his(her?) salt would want in a team.

Latest about Muguna? EC where are you, close room for speculation.

Which matches are on midweek, it appears we are playing Tuesday and again Wednesday?
