Gor Mahia get reprieve
The match between Gor Mahia and Tusker that was scheduled for May 30 has been pushed off to a date to be announced later. The reason for the postponement was to allow enough time for the national team to prepare for their crucial encounter with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The postponement is a reprieve for Gor Mahia who have been ravaged by injuries of late. Raphael Kiongera, Anthony Gathu and Innocent Mutiso are still nursing long term injuries. Strikers Rama Salim and Dan Sserunkuma have nagging injuries , while dependable midfielder Moses Odhiambo also picked up a knock on Sunday against Western Stima.
Aside from recovering from injuries, the postponement also gives Logarusic and the rest of the technical bench more time to work on the issues plaguing the team.
Meanwhile Jerim Onyango, Musa Mohammed, Edwin Lavatsa and David Owino have joined the national team camp while defender Israel Emuge has been called up the Uganda national team.
Bahati yenu kwa kubebwa na OGUDA! Lakini baado kichapo kingine chaja, ata OGUDA akiarisha game, kama kile cha Western Stima huko Mumias kwa msitu ya miwa.
I wish the national team good luck. It seems we are unlucky since our mashemeji has beaten us in signing PINCHEZ. I don’t understand how our EC approached the matter. Ingwe was serious. Who else is on our radder? We are crying of middfield. Please George Bwana and the rest go out with seriousness and get the players.
How could leopards beat gor 2 the signature of pinchez.if report in Goal.com is anything 2 go by?i have lost hope,
Guys the issue of Pinches is not yet a done deal but we all know that Ingwe will break the bank to sign any player gor has targetted. See the case of Victor Ochieng. We all know that Pinches is in his peak and will base some of his decisions on monetary gain. I would do the same. But who said there is no other ‘Pinches’ out there. Unless the EC and TB have not been scouting around. Anyone see Ojwang’, formerly of Gor , then Chemelil and now Mathare? He is as good at Pinches and now batlle-hardened as well.
@Disi, I don’t know where you got the impression that Tusker will beat Gor unless the ref who was in Mumias is given the job again. Better concentrate with the tribulations of Ingwe. You have the Zuku and election thing to handle. Not sure if this case it will be the turn of Maragoli, Manyala, Bukusu, Isukha, Idakho,Tiriki or who to tahe leadership. I wish you pass that hurdle otherwise it will be the beginning of sub-tribe wars in the team.
In case you sihn Pinches please spare him what befell Victor. Bageye and Abich
in my opinion, this is a player who we should have gone all out to sign!!he is tried and tested and is among the best midfielders we have in kenya.if he gets away,it will be a massive disappointment.
@4,Dan……Ojwang for me is not the type of player who will revamp our mid!!!
What is our office doing i had opiyo was asking for only 400k and our office could just aford 250k,since efusi had the money they had there way, this days we dont even go to camp,we travel almost the same day we are playing hata kama ni mumias seriously where is the money going? that we cant even aford 400k,gentlemen election is coming let not vote for pple coz they are our friends but lets go for performers.
Guys you have made my day. No one can be signed before the league takes a break; I’ve never seen transfers being done when the league is on-going.
@4 Dan- you are right, if Ingwe targets Pinchez then let them take him so that they waste him like they did to Masika who was almost emerging as the best defender. Now he’s in the dustbin, same to Were, Baraza and Wanga…
@ 1 Benson Disi – I think you are mixing issues. where is Oguda coming? I thought all matches are postponed to allow Harambee Stars time to prepare so there is no favouritism. As for GM players being recalled to camp, who in Kenya doesnt know that David Owino of GM and Lavatsa are on form and that is what we need for Kenya to beat Nigeria? Kama unaskia uchungu utanichekesha sana
leave this disi guy alone he is the most silly guy i have never seen, on the issue of signing pinches gor mahia officials are not always willing to spend money to buy players.look at the mubiru issue i tell you these guys are very stupid, there work is just to milk the club money no wonder some are leaving wea they are employed jst 2 com n steal from the club.
From which hole has our resident madman emerged after a long hibernation?
