Gor Mahia go down at Chemelil

Kogalo lost 0-3 to Chemelil Sugar FC in what is now the teams worst performance of the season.  Playing in a pitch soaked due to driving rain, Kogalo were unable to adapt. Chemelil on the other hand are used to playing in such conditions and seized the initiative from the beginning.

By half time, the visitors found themselves two goals down. The second half was played in driving rain, killing off any chances of a comeback by Kogalo.

They are now placed 11th in the KPL standings, 8 points behind the leaders Ulinzi after 6 matches.

Prior to the match, Gor Mahia Kisumu branch organized a parade for the club players that was well received by local fans.

Gentlemen, this kind of results is not acceptable. It’s pining the morale down, bad pitch should not be an excuse for three nil. Hata ingekuwa two one (2-1)or 1-0 i could have taken it but 3-0 yawa ti napond kanye jo thurwa. There seems to be a problem somewhere. Please tell us.

The problem is the constant changing of the technical bench. Last year Kogalo ended the season on a high note but they still decided to make changes to the technical bench. Kwa nini ?
Also, Zico should know Chemelil and their weaknesses inside out. Instead it seems that it is Chemelil who know, Zico’s weaknesses.

  • Jothurwa let,s turn up in large numbers this Saturday and cheer our team when they will be taking on Mahakama.Am damn sure that with our moral support to the team we,ll ‘jail’ Mahakama.Let’s focus ahead and not concentrate in the past.We drew with Mahakama during our friendly match with them having fielded our new recruits and them fielding their full squad.
