Gor Mahia head to Narok for training

Gor Mahia were scheduled to leave for Narok on Monday for pre-season training. The training is geared towards preparing for the 2018 Super Cup against AFC Leopards as well as the 2018 Africa champions league match against Leones Vegeterianos of Equatorial Guinea.

“The pre-season is for both the league matches and the Caf Champions League. We would like to perform better in both so we are putting in the work,” club Chief Executive Officer Lordvick Aduda said to the Nation.

Aduda indicated that the participation in the 2018 Champions league was still up in the air to to financial constraints occassioned by the Sponsors Sportpesa.

“We can’t walk from here to Equatorial Guinea. If there is no money we will not honour those matches,” he said.

Talks with Sportpesa are still ongoing.

“At this moment we are, however, staying positive because we are in talks with SportPesa and other potential sponsors, and we are optimistic of getting a good deal.”

Can an esteemed blogger soberly compare Coutinho and Neymar transfers with that of Muguna. Both Liverpool and Barca on realizing that the players wanted out simply maximized on the transfer fee i.e sterling pounds 142M and 200M. None of the mambo jambo of “there is nothing you can do but get what you can.” If FK Tirana is such a “big club” how come their CEO, Hector Como, is job hunting at little known efusi. Bloated GMFC’s EC had the upper hand in the Muguna transfer but was outfoxed by efusi’s CEO or most likely kickbacks were paid. Same EC is now claiming GM has no funds for CAF matches. Mara preseason is at Egerton University, mara Narok, mara we can’t walk to Malabo, mara we will withdraw from CAF, mara we sold Muguna for a record fee. For the whole tenure of the respected chair, GMFC’s participation in CAF has been a sham, 2018 seems to be just keeping to that trend.

When sober minds like Oduor12 talks, people need to sit up tight and listen. For avoidance of doubt, AR has done a lot for Gor Mahia but not enough. How on Earth would an experienced hand and a reputable lawyer like AR keep on losing out on transfer fees due to the club. It’s either by design or a sign of the highest form of calculated negligence to benefit from kick backs. We demand that the office must publish all the monies accrued from the sale of players since 2015.

Even, locally Masuod Juma “failed” several trials but eventually earned K.Sharks a cool kes.7M with his transfer to South Africa. During the same period our EC has remained stuck with this FK Tirana despite no money being paid into the club’s coffers. Most surprising is that same FK Tirana CEO who is luring GMFC players to Tirana is seeking a “transfer” to efusi. Swali ni can/will this FK Tirana club really pay GMFC its transfer fee which must be peanuts, or even pay Muguna/ Musa if its CEO is running away and to him efusi could be a better option. Conclusion, as the club loses out from these transfer fiascos, individuals responsible for managing the club must be benefiting for it’s not fans who negotiate transfers. We need that transfer fee from Tirana to fund our CAF matches.

Every beginning of the season we seem to always have this issue of EC this EC that, Chairman this Chairman that. By the way who in EC ‘eats’ our money? And how much was “eaten’ last year? By tje time we will be leading the league and hopefully in the group stages in Africa we will have forgotten how our money was ‘eaten

EC and their sidekicks, you can eat all GMFC’s monies so long as you remember that THE PRICE THE TEAM PAYS FOR WINNING THE LEAGUE OR SHIELD CUP IS CAF QUALIFICATION and “players can’t walk to Equatorial Guinea”. Why push the players & TB to win the league by November or even unbeaten then “uchako baro wiwa” ati club has no money for CAF matches yet you “have money to build a stadium”. +10 years and counting and the story remains the same.

  • The transfer fee in Gor is ever shrouded in secrecy unlike other clubs. The so called officials led by Mugabe/Wenger are greedy and ever salivating on money accrued from sale of contracted players. Where is Judith Nyangi to shed the light for us?Maybe she has also obliged to the phrase’If you can’t beat them join them. Mungu saidia.

  • I pitty gormahia…i think the only cure is privatisation of the club we only need 49% to be privatised and magic will happen. Now who can push for that it seems every one thinks gor mahia remaining as it is will secure gready people from stealing it. Chelsea, Arsenal , manunited, Liverpool..come to africa to mazembe, mamelodi sundowns yanga, simba sc this teams have been partly privatised and some fully… common thing about them is they are financially, football wise powerhouses. Let’s learn from other’s .thats the best and most free education in the universe

    • Thank you for this brokers info…I enjoyed every line..Hector Como is a known corrupt thug with a penchant for living in Kenya permanently lurking his neck out on football circles wheeler dealing and coaxing players into insurbordination to be released from valid contracts so he can eat commisions.I call such people in french Commissionaires…Let him stop trying to destabilize mighty mayienga.Hector Como stop at Musa & Muguna for other brokerage deals trying Afc Leopards players, they are available in abandon and you will soon be a short caller CEO there anyway.Sell the whole efusi team to Albania if you so wish but leave kogalo players alone

Bloggers that are critical of looting at the club. My question, what money is there in Gor Mahia to be looted or eaten by the executive? Gate collections and receipts from wellwishers is too little. Scenarios of people that do not understand the club constitution is really sickening at the end of every season. If you are also fighting to loot the meager resources, why can’t you wait for your time to arrive so that you can join the looters.

Kindly reflect on Mark 8:18 and Mathew 7:5. Being GMFC Chairman or official sio the same as being chairman of Muhoroni Youth. In K’Ogalo it is almost guaranteed that you will be required to find funds for CAF matches so you must be prepared from first day in office because Gor Mahia is 99% likely to win the league/shield in any season. The looting issue is actually immaterial. All we want to hear is that Gor Mahia moves to the next level in 2018, i.e reaches CAF group otherwise this story of the “club does not have money for CAF matches” will be retold in 2019 and for another 10 years mpaka 2029. Mugabe & Co. cannot pretend that they are caught off guard or unprepared year in, year out! I Rest My Case.

From what i know no-one vies to Gor office with the intention of ‘stealing’. They all mean good. What with expenditure exceeding the income and bonuses not paid due to various reasons. The day the branch leaders who are close to the club than ordinary members raise issues then i will know things are really bad. Otherwise if it’s the same group for the last 3 years then it’s at times hard to know what is right or wrong

With all due respect we all love our club. We can defeat bad things at kogallo thru constructive criticism n by spreading positive energy…look for positives n commend…in EC..Players ..coach..Rachier..fans etc..you can also spare a moment to even say a prayer…but this complaining n murmuring season in n out causes stagnation in kogallo…even if your child is not doing well, criticism makes it all worse n makes the child miserable n hopeless cos of negative energy..but positive energy thru praise etc brings positive change. So build with your words..be hopeful ..lets all join n pray n see a great club rise out of africa…the world is waiting!
