I am proud of you Kogalllo. Takes a lot of team work, discipline and sacrifices from all the 3 arms of a club. You deserve it. Congrats once more. I was, I am and shall, never worried. In Kogallo I trust. For God and my beloved club.

  • Oduor12 says:

Has Kerr, like Mugabe, also become a player agent? Why is he inviting scouts to prey on GM? Why does’nt he show the same interest in signing players. Who will replace any departing player(s)?So much hullabaloo on a mere friendly compared to CAF matches!

    • Jamigori says:

@Oduor12, this is a misplaced posting. We have heard about insults and accusations which are not healthy for team work. The coach is right to market his players to any team in UK.

  • Rabour says:

Oduor ,my dear brother, kindly understand that football is a proffesion and the coach has to market the players for their own goods. The coach swork is not signing new players but to identify for office to follow, negotiate and sign

  • ja thur gi ji says:

Aaaiiiii my friend Oduor 12 why spoil a good thing, let the team enjoy themselves at least for this moment. This is not time for such comments, I personally want to wish the team well lose or win, as I said here earlier, it is a big statement that Kogalo is making by this fixture. All other matters, CAF et al, at their own time.

  • jagem oremo says:

Oduor12: Coach Dylan Kerr, just like a teacher in school would wish his students the best, also wishes his players the best. As fans, we dont want to loose any player. But the truth is that football is a source of earning for footballers as well as a business for clubs. Any well meaning club cannot hold onto a good player who has got a greener pasture. Any good coach will always wish his players the best. Clubs also benefit from selling players to other clubs. It is busines.

  • Dan Original says:

If players don’t leave for greener pastures (by African standards ) then it means we have failed as a team. If DAnny didn’t leave maybe we could not have had Kagere amongst other success stories. Who wouldn’t want to earn the figures Olunga and Wanyama are earning

  • Odour12 says:

That the players deserve the Everton trip is not in question, they earned it. What’s strange is the head coach of a serious club, like GM, transforming into his players’ agent. THAT’S CONFLICT OF INTEREST RECALL NUTTAL/HEARTS SAGA. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

  • Jakoyo says:

@oduor 12, I think Kerr is just hyping the match and pysching the boys ….I doubt if any scout will even attend the match based on the silly English mentality and stereotype about African football / players.

  • Oduor12 says:

Deadline for submitting players’ names to CAF was yesterday 2/11/2018. Anyone knows which players have made our beloved GM’s list? E.g has the GK issue that cost us crucial matches, including a CAF quarter final, been addressed?

    GOR CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SQUAD

Karim Nizigiyimana out as Gor Mahia name squad for Caf Champions League

Nizigiyimana, who is coming from injury, has been omitted from the squad that also doesn’t have new signing Nicholas Kipkirui

Burundi defender Karim Nizigiyimana is not in the 26-man Gor Mahia squad for Caf assignment.

Nizigiyimana, who is coming back from injury, has been omitted from the squad that also doesn’t have new signing Nicholas Kipkirui from Zoo Kericho and Kevin ‘Ade’ Omondi.

However, Gor Mahia CEO Omondi Aduda has confirmed that he only sent 26 names to Caf and has four more slots that will be filled before deadline day. “We did not include Nizigiyimana because as you know, his contract with us ends in January. We want him to return from UK and see if we can extend the contract and then include him in the squad.”

On the absence of Kevin ‘Ade’ Omondi, Aduda told Goal.com, “why have ‘Ade’ when we already have Muguna in the squad.”

    Gor Mahia squad;

Keepers: Boniface Oluoch, Shaban Odhoji and Fredrick Odhiambo.

Defenders: Harun Shakava, Philemon Otieno, Wellington Ochieng’, Shafik Batambuze, Raphael Asudi, Charles Momanyi, Joash Onyango and Pascal Ogweno, Joachim Oluoch.

Midfielders: George “Blackberry” Odhiambo, Samuel Onyango, Boniface Omondi, Francis Kahata, Ernest Wendo, Cersidy Okeyo, Humphrey Mieno, Kenneth Muguna, Lawrence Juma and Benard Ondiek.

Strikers: Jacques Tuyisenge, Francis Mustafa, Erisa Ssekisambu and Eliud Kokuwam.

Burundi international Karim Nzigiyamana has been omitted from the Gor Mahia team that is set to represent the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) giants in next season’s CAF Champions League competition.

In the absence of Karim, Philemon Otieno is seen as the first choice right back for the club with youngster Raphael Asudi also making the squad. The defensive unit also has new recruit Shafiq Batambuze, Charles Momanyi, Joash Onyango, Pascal Ogweno, Joachim Oluoch, Wellington Ochieng and captain Harun Shakava.

Other new recruits that have made the squad include Ugandan Erisa Ssekisambu and Kenneth Muguna with Nicholas Kipkurui, Wesley Onguso and Kevin ‘Ade’ Omondi being other notable omissions from the squad.

  • dinga says:

Kerr has every right to connect his players. Coaches are the closest to these players and rightly know how they can better their lives. The Gor issue is not about player movement but about honesty and transperency in these transanctions. It was never about Kagere leaving but about the corrupt and deceitful way that the EC did it.
So I will fully support Kahata joining Everton if the deal is clean. The biggest coup is that he would have joined from Gor.
On this trip Gor has done well so far. I hope the biggest beneficiaries(the players) come to their senses and realise what it takes to be proffesional. Stop the kalongolongo behaviour in the pitch and you will attract the best. I hope and pray that there be enough scouts to take note of each and every player. My biggest prayer is that all these players get contracts abroad.

  • Jakoyo says:

Just Breaking from UK….kogallo to add two more strikers, one extra defender and one extra winger before transfer window closes in January as Karim nizingimana future is increasingly uncertain, Moses mudavadi or Mike madoya to take the extra winger slot and the youthful strikers – one from coast stima and Nicholas kipkirui ( if zoo kericho approves the deal) and possibly yuñus sentamu or Caleb bonfils ( should Karim decides to opt out )

So it is official…no signing of goalkeeper!! Very sad indeed but I trust the ones we have will style up.

  • Oswozo Moziek says:

The striker from coast stima,Ombija seems to already have been signed.i personally saw him yesterday training with Gor youth at camp toyoyo under coach Tom Ogweno.

From what I saw,he is one for the future and is still a rough diamond.Let him cut his teeth with the youth meanwhile like Alpha Onyango whom we were made to understand has been elevated to the senior team but is currently sitting his form 4 examinations…good luck to him!!

  • Michael odhiambo Ogolo says:

so according to Francis kimanzi, Gor mahia fc players are too old or are not good enough to play for the u23 national team and mathare fc have very good players. I think this coach migne is falling into kimanzis trap by assuming that he knows the local players.

    • Jamigori says:

@Michael Odhiambo Ogolo, Kimanzi is such an imbicible coach that thinks by Mathare drawing with Gor Mahia that they are better than Gor Mahia. We have young players like Asudi, Alphy, Lokwaum, Okiro etc and also other talented players from the youth team.

  • Aduwa says:

Fans are giving contradictory information about the TV channel to air the friendly match one of u who is properly informed to help us
