Gor Mahia resumed training on Friday at camp Toyoyo grounds. Of the players named in the 24 man CAF squad, only seven showed up: Enock Agwanda, Eric Ouma, Gradus Ochieng, George Odhiambo “Blackberry”, Boniface Oluoch. Also in attendance was David Ochieng “Cheche”.

Assistant Coach Tom Ogweno explained that some players were still traveling while some were awaiting for monetary issues to be settled before they could join the training.  Some players are owed money and some have yet to renew contracts. Also missing is coach Frank Nuttall.

Goalkeeper trainer Mathew Ottamax explained that Gradus Ochiengwho was signed from City Stars has been identified as player who is being groomed for the future and could eventually take over when Jerim Onyango and Boniface Oluoch step aside from football.

How I wish we could leave Kagere’s issue and pursue Tuyisenge instead. I don’t think Kagere has the fire to play for Gor anymore. moreso now that Olunga is gone

@Dan Original…I totally agree with you.the way I see it is kagere will only come back to Gor if he lacks an alternative. …and even then,he will be on the lookout for other suitors!!
