The team was founded on August 26, 1914.  It is one of the most popular, traditional and successful Brazilian clubs with almost 17 million supporters including the majority of the Italian immigrants in Brazil. The team has won the Brazilian championship 8 times and the Libertadores cup once.

Historically the club has featured Brazilian legends like Roberto Carlos, Edmundo, Rivaldo, Vava, Mazinho and Kleber, all of whom were part of World cup winning squads. So fans attending this match could well be watching future world class players. The club has quite a bit in common with Kogalo. Not only do they share a similar colour of uniform, but Palmeiras has ethnic roots as it draws most of its passionate fan base from Italian immigrants in Sao Paulo.

  • we have interest in both matches. Harambee has the Black Berry, collins, Daddy, Musa and opportunity on Sunday to get some handsome gate collections for charity or Gor.

gor management can use the match to gift the fans with free entry if they choose to. we need to continue building the fan base and not be money minded so much.

it is good to be GOR

A good opportunity for the Kogallo young vijanaaa to learn how to play from players who are well trained and have been in structured youth systems since they were 10 years old. Players who are fundamentally sound. They better take their notebooks and pens and keep them ready. They are about to learn a lesson in the fine art of football. Uliza those Tanzanians what happened when akina Kaka and Bustos came visiting
