Gor Mahia to Play Sharks at Afraha

Gor Mahia match against Kariobangi Sharks that is scheduled for Sunday October 20, has been moved to Afraha stadium.

The match was originally slated for Kasarani but has been moved because Kasarani playing surface is to undergo maintenance after being damaged during the international friendly between Kenya and Mozambique. This according to various sources. No other stadiums are available in Nairobi.

The last time these two sides met was on March 30 of this year. Gor Mahia won 2-1 with goals from Lawrence Juma and Francis Kahata. Prior to that, Sharks had beaten Gor Mahia 1-0 in the Super cup final in December 2018.

Not much has been seen of Ivorian striker Yikpe Ghislain. So fans will be eager to finally see the towering Ivorian in action.

Just breaking ! Jack Oguda please note that some of the clubs this weekend will be boycotting matches due to chronic unpaid bills. Halt the league and declare the current table leaders 2019/20 winners or else expect massive walkovers.

Dear colleagues are we so down mpaka we have disappeared from this site? Are things so bad that we have lost interest in our own and only team? Come on even Jasego, please tell us something as we head to the long weekend and this Sharks match.

On my part, I wish the team well in the match and the upcoming Motema Pembe match.

Sad state of affairs. Sasa wapi sirikali wa sponsor league. Chasing away sportpesa was the worst decision this government has taken. Na bado, with this economic crisis, only God will save Kenyan football.
Otek, lakini Gor ema ahero. For God and my beloved club – Kogallo
