Gor Mahia transfer news December 2

While neighbours Tusker have been busy in the transfer market, Gor Mahia have been silent. A number of Gor Mahia players have expiring contracts and not much is known about the club’s plans. One such player is Karim Nizigiyimana. The Burundian cross-master has been instrumental in Gor Mahia’s success this season.

“I am comfortable with the Sportpesa Premier League (SPL) champions. We have won virtually all the trophies and ditching the club will water down all my successes. I want to remain part of that success by sticking with the club.” he said according to supersport.

Nizigiyimana understands that the club has financial challenges but yet has done a decent job of taking care of players

“Despite the many financial challenges that faced the club, which is normal, I can say I’m happy at Gor Mahia and I don’t intend to leave the club. I’m ready to put pen to paper and extend my contract even if the papers are brought today.”

“At the moment, I feel that extending my contract with Gor Mahia next month is the best thing to do. I am at one of the biggest clubs in the region, where I feel loved by the fans. The future look bright and I want to be part of that future.” he continued.

Meanwhile the reputation of the club is fast rising all over East Africa and is attracting interest from players from across the region. Rwandan forward Jacques Tuyisenge who recently played a key role in steering Rwanda to the semi-finals of the CECAFA senior challenge cup, has made it clear that he would love to join Kenyan Premier champions Gor Mahia.

Speaking to “Mchakamchaka”, a local magazine show which airs on pay television station Supersport, the Police FC striker said he has heard a lot about ‘K’Ogalo” from his fellow countrymen who turn out for the most decorated Kenyan club and he wouldn’t have a second thought if a chance to join them presents itself.

“Yes, I would be very happy to play along side Meddie Kagere at Gor Mahia. Kagere is a good player, we played together at Police and he scores a lot of goals,” elated Tuyisenge said.

Gor is home to two Rwandans, left full back Abouba Sibomana and striker Meddie Kagere.

“They tell me a lot about Gor – it is a good team which I would love to join so that I can play in the Kenyan Premier League.”

Meanwhile other reports indicate that Gor Mahia will play arch rivals AFC Leopards in a season ender on Jamhuri day. The match is being sponsored by the Ministry of sports.

I agree with Achacha hapo juu. Aside from transfer, the club needs to plan early for next season. This club can make an impact in the next champions league if they plan properly.

Achacha you cannot expect that it is the chair in charge of everything and I do not think they are just sitting there. If you and I Know it they should know it even better. Silent moves are sometimes better than noisy business. Let them do their work but at least they also hear us.

what Achacha is saying we don’t want deals to be done early next year after being knocked out of the African Cup…..sort it out now so that we have the best players

When it comes to transfers I believe we have always done better. The fact that the players want to join us gives us an advantage. last year we said the same about the EC and even hauled some unprintable words at them but we had to swallow those words at the end of the year.
At Gor we speak less but act more. So fans be patient and after all the main issue should be our financial stability than anything else. If we can be guaranteed finances then we wouldn’t even have to go the the market but the market would come to us

Thanks Dan Original asili, you are right, what we are saying is this deals ought to be concluded timely. If the signings we had last year were concluded timely we would not have been knocked out at the initial stages of the tournament.

I strongly believe the KO’GALLO management is working around the clock to ensure the team is maintained made even stronger. Let’s not rush into pushing for things to happen just because we don’t know what the management is up to. It is this same management that has so far proven to be the best in the country so far.
Now, I kindly need help with information regarding the Kogalo Sacco and bread. I have never come across the bread. Anyone with factual information in regards to the two kindly share. Thank you

  • Why is Gor playn Afc leopards. This is a joke. Will afc fans disrupt the game again. Gor shud have been made to play a foreign team. Nothin to learn from leopards for sure. N for Wanyoyi, the guy made a mistake but my problem with him is what is his agenda once he regains fitness at Gor? So now they realise that the adrenalin that they get while playn at Gor actually helps.

  • IT’S VERY TRUE ACORDING DINGA, WHAT VALUE WILL GOR GET BY PLAYING AGAINST AFC LEOPRDS? BY THE WAY WHO CHASED AWAY TIMONA WANYONI FROM GOR MAHIA, NOW HE WANTS COME BACK. HE DID FOLLOW THE WISH OF HIS FATHER LET THE FATHER LOOK FOR HIM ANOTHER CLUB NOT GM? GUYS HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD I PRAY HERE FOR THIS MASTER BONIFACE AKENGA TO JOIN K’OGALO YAWA. TO FIND SUCH YOUNG LAD TO SCORE THREE GOALS IN ONE MATCH, IS NOT AJOKE!! PLZ DR. AR LOOK FOR THIS BOY?

No need playing AFC Leopards because lately AFC Leopards believe they must win even if it’s through teargas or stones. For us at Gor Mahia we play quality football.

Maybe the organizers are eyeing a possibility of getting a huge gate collection which rarely reaches players.
