Kerr invites EPL scouts

Additional Information from the Standard
Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr has invited a number of top English and Scottish clubs scouts to grace his team’s historic SportPesa Trophy tie against Everton at the Goodison Park, on Tuesday.

The Briton, who has been on a spying mission as he furthers his coaching education in the United Kingdom since October 17, revealed to the Standard Sports that he is still waiting for a confirmation from a number of clubs.

The record Kenyan champions, who earned a ticket to the United Kingdom after beating Tanzanian giants Simba SC 2-0 in a SportPesa Super Cup final in Nakuru, in June, departs for Liverpool today.

The players will have a once-in-a-lifetime- opportunity to watch live EPL action between Everton and Brighton & Hove Albion tomorrow at 6pm. But K’Ogalo will not play against Hull City on Wednesday after the Championship side cancelled the friendly.

“I have asked all Premier League and Scottish Premier League clubs through the League Managers Association plus the players’ agents to come and see our talent,” said Kerr.

“The team will find me here; everybody is excited about the match. I’ve been here doing a 15-hour coaching progression development course. We had intended to play against Hull City but they have cancelled the game.”

Apart from midfielder Francis Kahata, who had been earmarked by Championship Hull City coaches during their international friendly in May, Kerr feels the Everton trip will give his players an opportunity to market themselves.

“I’m offering English clubs a chance to see my talented players something I believe in because we have talented players. All of them are good enough but the areas they are looking for are central defence and midfield areas,” he underlined.

Yes the English Football Philosophy apparently believes all africans are god created to play in Central Defense and DMF/Holding positions hence why Mourinho converted Pogba who was a superb free role number 10 star player at Juventus into a supposed box to box number 8 at Manchester United so he can do Donkey Work. Boys go shine in all departments including wingbacks and strikers plus the free role and show them the African talent abounds and is complete on all fronts. Make us proud and best of luck. Yes you can shine and win. Why not? You are after all Kenyan Champions and Everton are not English Champs. Display your champion mentality and play football that earns you respect.
