The Kenya Premier League U20 starts this week. Gor Mahia will kick off their campaign against Posta Rangers on Sunday December 17. According to goal.com, the match will be played at Camp Toyoyo starting at 10:15 am. The Gor Mahia juniors are in group B along with Posta Rangers, Western Stima and Ulinzi Stars.

Defending champions Mathare United, who are pooled in group A will play their first match against Muhoroni Youth at the same venue (as from 8:00am) before Chemelil Sugar- Sony Sugar and Western Stima-Ulinzi Stars matches in the afternoon.

AFC Leopards will play Tusker on the second day (Sunday, December 18) at the same venue as from 10:15am just after the match pitting Ushuru FC against Nairobi City Stars. Bandari FC will then welcome Spofapaka ahead of Kakamega Homeboyz-Thika United match.

In the August edition of the tournament, Kogalo Youth reached the final before losing to Mathare Youth in the final.

This is the first assignment of the newly elected Gor Mahia officials. In the recent past, there has been a tug of war between the club EC and the fans foundation which formed the youth team.

All the best to the U20 team. There has been little info on how the team is performing (performed) on the lower league.

On the transfer area, there are rumors that Kamura and Muguna are on the way to k’ogalo. Incidentally all these were ingwe targets.

    Anybody with the confirmations

Ingwe always targets every player Kogallo wants. Very poor transfer policy!! Also read Muguna’s impending arrival but remains a rumour for now. Kamura is a player who can improve our game by a great extent. Can play at CB, defensive midfield, good in the air and a set piece specialist. Plus his contract has run out so will be on the cheap. Would be a good deal

Its time for the new office to start taking this team seriously. The club can unearth its own players from the grassroots.

    • Why are you snooping into other clubs’ affairs yet we have our Kingdom matters to handle. You had better realised that you are obsessed with FN name. The earlier you get occupied with your own issues, the better. Otherwise obsession is a a mental disorder. Your view of FN is quite unfortunate Anyway to be frank with you, I must say that you are very petty. We men are not expected to dwell so much on trivial issues.

@A Person please go easy on Jakoyo . That is what he feels like sharing with readers this time round. We are in a season of good will and therefore let us embrace the true spirit of this festive season even if we have to pretend to be so nice to everyone.

When will John Ndirangu play for Kogalo, he is available on loan terms from AFC right now? Just asking, he can be big at Kogalo

Yes,Jakom. Also read the same. He can be too stylish at times but he is a good squad player to have. And on loan he would be a perfect option. I have a hunch if we dont get him Tusker will. He definitely is not going to remain in the market for long!!!!! @Ja’Asego ere koro?

Musymo antie xmas tings, but yeah i agree too Softie is a perfect technical player suited to Ze Maria’s philosophy who would explode at K’ogalo and provide width on Blackberry’s position, about signing him well we just have to wait & see since alot goes on b4 a player dons the white & green…

  • Ingwe has released 4 players and advised them to seek loan terms elsewhere. Some like Jackson Saleh have been released ‘back to their former clubs’. Does this mean we will soon have Saleh back in Kogallo squad? If so, is he really in Ze Mariah’s wish list?

@A person, there is Jakoyo & the one you’ve aptly labelled kingdom’s royal guard(s) whose loyalty to a king vis-a-vis the club is a mysterious grey area that only that yet to be invented “kogalo herameter” will be able to solve. Regarding Jakoyo after his Bitam fiasco, a few years back, always look/ask for a link to confirm some of his postings.l hope the new EC will boost the club pathetically low membership(and this time anchor structures rather than personalties) for it has a bearing on of the sponsorship leverage, can provide the club with substantial income if numbers are boosted and done annually instead of being restricted to an election tool. Not to mention that a voting base of a mere 1000 members pours cold water on the deduction of points based “unruly fans” who could be planted. That’s my view and its made being fully aware it everyone is entitled to theirs.

        • @Oduor 12, I have since acknowledged the presence of the kingdom guards. What I don’t understand is why they keep on underrating the unbeaten FN Anyway I treat their outbursts with the contempt they deserve.
