Gor Mahia held scoreless by Posta Rangers
For the third consecutive time, Gor Mahia were once again held to a draw, this time by Posta Rangers.

K’Ogalo came into the match knowing three points will put them closer to rivals Tusker FC, who were held to a 1-1 draw by Western Stima on Saturday, with Posta Rangers aiming for their first win in the second leg.
Under pressure duo of Meddie Kagere and Jacques Tuyisenge were given another opportunity by coach Ze Maria to prove their doubters wrong against the second best defensive side in the league.
It took several minutes for the both sides to settle down as Tuyisenge threatened earlier on notably in the sixth minute, with Joakins Atudo being forced to commit a foul to stop him. The latter had to be alert once again in the eleventh minute to stop Meddie Kagere, who had been played in by Francis Kahata.
In the first half it was Gor Mahia offensive players against Atudo, who was solid to stop attacks from his side. The closest Rangers came was a free-kick just outside the area which was taken by Atudo after Collins Nettoh had been fouled by Erick Ouma.
Despite attacking and pinning the hosts to their own half, it still remained goalless after the end of 45 minutes. In the second half, it was the Green Army again, who came back strongly with Kagere winning a corner after the restart, which unfortunately bore no fruits. In the 51st minute, Godfrey Walusimbi initiated an attack which was quickly cut by the opponents.
Rangers reacted by making several attempts with Titus Achesa releasing a fierce shot in the 55th minute which was unfortunately way off the mark. In a bid to increase his team’s attacks, Gearson Likonoh was introduced by coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno in place of John Nairuka.
Enock Agwanda was introduced in the 61st minute but Rangers decided to play cautiously, relying on counter attacks and at long last denied the champions an opportunity to reduce the gap between them and the brewers.

I think musymo is the cause of our draws;what do we blame?I go back to mid season signings and whether some of our foreign based players are really impact players.Of course the local ones should be quality.Ie why take Baron clueless in place of Ndirangu.Gor is not a some high school where players come because of kujuana with management.
I said the five games starting with sony sugar will seal our destiny and it appears the league title is as good as over for us. looking at the players faces today, hopelessness is creeping in for sure and somebody must be held accountable for a string of poor results.
Here are my key concerns as the league comes to an end in a few weeks…
1. why does the coach think that blackberry adds any value in the starting line up. Do this players train? what can we do we about our starting line? can the coach talk to local coaches to get their views or better invite a local coach to one of our training sessions for ideas.
2. why do fans think that since Tusker is drawing, Kogallo should also draw, useless thinking, remember we face tusker in the last game of the season therefore at this rate , that final game will be a formality. Lets start building for 2017 and recruit wisely.
3. Our obsession with draws means we have invited Ulinzi into the title party. I see more draws coming in the next few weeks….since we are playing Ulinzi and Efusi next , i think Ulinzi could just sneak into second position and possibly win the title if Tusker is not serious.

This “genius what a coach” to me is neither close to FN nor Loga in terms of coaching. FN did not perform very well at the beginning of the season coz he was being fought by many people including players and EC. Kama huyu Ze is the word class coach we heard about, wacha tuone mpira kwa nyumba zetu. After all sport pesa is sponsoring Gor abd therefore get collections is just but chicken change.
I was busy watching the Rio olympics on KBC Channel 1 because I can nolonger subscribe to a monthly deduction by Gotv. Why do I need a Gotv when there is nothing worth watching? And my living room has become more welcoming in weekends, I no longer scramble for matatus to Nyayo.

To add to JAMIGORI,last year even our draws were a beauty to watch and were well thought. And opponents tried to predict our pattern of play but we would still bring in plan B and C and D. Let the coach accept defeat and leave.

Moses pls get your facts right before you irritate some of us. FN took over from BW in September 2014 and won the league without Olunga and Aucho. During that period, he played 54 domestic matches, won 38,drew 12 and only lost 4.

The problem with GM apart frm “kawna wuoda” signings is Training.The coach has stuck to his routine training which is gud bt I think at tyms u nid to train with ua opponents in mind. 4 instance jana’s training was marvelous,one touch futbal frm bony to hatari on Jerry’s goal on the other end.Even musa /shakava were not doing backpass, beri was not falling dwn, accurate passes. THE PROBLEM IS,THE ONLY OPPONENT WAS JERI JAGOAL.This has bin the case every match day Eve,1st 11 against Jeri.So when actual match comes guys find that apart from the usual opponent jagoal,thea r 10 other guys giving 200%,to translate the one touch futball becomes tricky,they were training without opponents hence lots o
f backpasses/mispases.

Ze Maria could make a good coach for gor under 20,with all of his ball works.bytheway players get quickly noticed by any Kenyan national coach when playing for kogalo, it hasn’t happened with beri for along time despite commanding alot of playing time.I think he should soul search is he playing Cox of his talent or he is playing Cox he knows pole in the higher places
I think the best thing for Gor is now to soul-search. So much pressure on the players as well as the TB. The samefans who wanted Kagere when we already had JaUsenge are now complaining. We wanted Baron by force and got him. We wanted FN to go and now we want him back. Ze Maria sais that it was gonna be had for Kagere to replicate his last year’s form and we thought he was favouring his countryman. When he plays JaUsenge and Kagere we complain, when he does it with BB we also complain. Sad State of affairs.
Even if Ze Maria was to go the last coaches we need now are Loga and FN, Don’t think they can offer anything new at this time

Who hired Ze Maria and him labelled proactive, best coach etc= AR/EC. 2) Why is insurbordination by Gatusso being tolerated by the club. Could he just be carrying out the instructions of his masters. Forgive me but i think some players in GM are retained by EC specifically for these dirty jobs. 3) One year into a lucrative sponsorship and instead of laying a foundation to make in roads on the continental stage (like Zesco) we’ve actually regressed. 4) EC has intiated a lot of white elephant projects whose benefit to GMFC is yet to be felt, Sacco, Lotto, Bread & Water. Kindly take noTe that the bloggers who are trying to apportion blame on the fans for some Gor Mahia Mid season signings are misinformed.
1. No official has ever communicated to the fans their intention of buying any player. Fans get to know about such initiated deals on social media and each one of them is entitled to his or her opinion.But the buck stops with the TB. After all we have on several occasions been reminded that our views are not read by the relevant people.
2. At lest Odulla’s signing was not agitated for by the fans, neither was Wellington Ochieng’s signing. So why then are they not playing ? I thought i heard that Odula was coming to improve our midfield.
3. The reason we are thinking of FN the unbeaten coach is because the circustances under which he was forced to leave GM. Any coach being broutgt to GM must be above him. After all even with hus frustrations he still performed well in Ethiopia and Sudan
4. FN and Loga were quick to learn the Local coaches dirty tricks. Especially for FN , teams were playing against defending champions but he not only dealt with that kind of pressure, BUT WAS UNBEATEN, CECAFA 2. WITH NO SPONSORS . AND DELAYED PAYMENT OF SALARIES.
5.If at all there is cecafa and we play like we did, with no shots on goal .AIBU KWETU
6. Gor mahia has a potentioal of becoming a very big brand in Africa. We need seriousness from those who have been entrusted with this noble responsibility of managing it.

Odula was to be a direct replacement for Aucho. He was assessed for about 3 weeks (infact hijacked from Paka Original) and deemed very suitable that he had to be signed notwithstanding his ITC issues which was eventally sorted out a couple of weeks ago.Now he does not even feature even in the first 18. We have him, passenger 27, Thiago and add goalkeeper no.4 as very high profile signings draining the club’s finances with almost nil return. WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM? DO YOU SIGN A IBRAHIMOVIC/POGBA AND THEN DON’T UTILIZE THEM! I’ve also noted that player conflicts with head coaches are common whenever Jolawi is TM!
We all waited for June to get “world class signings” but we got “kauna wuoda” signings.The coach had issues with Kagere but was forced to retrace his comments.Remember the “Kaka” analogy from the coach and the fans response of “bring back meddie”.Some foreigners like $#%& should be sold to get impact players
Am not a coach; but there is one thing a’v always advocated. What if Karim/Baron/Berry/Ouma cuts in with the ball.It happened once when Karim did that;made a defence splitting pass to Jausenge who failed to read it;It nearly worked!.The players should know that last year’s tactics are now predictable.
Which last year’s tactics, stop being sarcastic. The team is under the new coach. No amount of description or belittling of FN will change the current poor form. You can call him all names, claim that his style was predictable. BUT HE REMAINS THE UNBEATEN CHAMPION. Just a reminder; Gor was the best male team in 2015 in the Soya awards. It is surprising that FN was the best coach of 2015 TOO. So it means that all these bloggers who are questioning Nuttal’s style have problems with the panelists who settled on FN! we need to dance our legs, heads, hands off from the stadia.

My colleagues, today am also a bitter man. I think apart from Kagere,we had a totally raw deal from mid season signings. Why did that happen and there was money and we were all waiting for that window to improve the team? To bring on game changers? Having watched him overtime to be honest, I have not seen anything in Baron Okech. John “Softie” Ndirangu was all there for grabs until taken by AFC? Who will unearth if there was some scandal here, starting with the Thiago case? And now with the Gattuso case, who will stop this circus? Just lets not go to CECAFA club championship when it will be held, it will be humiliation and unnecessary embarrassment.
