  • Kogalo has gone several matches undefeated but like most I am hoping we can convert more opportunities – I am sure that is bound to happen. I was just reliving Gor’s history and one of my favorite moments is when they defeated most teams 4-0 or 4-1 in the early 80s, which became known as “Kama Kawaida” back then. I believe the last 3 years has started a build up back to the Mighty Gor – love the team!

Question to all – anyone knows who is the highest goal scorer for Kogalo ever? Just curious, I know that deserves a forum of it’s own 🙂

  • These types of games are good not only for the footballing side of things but also to expand the fan base as well. The coach also has more opportunities to know the strengths and weaknesses of his players

A far from impressive performance. Especially when you consider that Muranga combined is hurriedly assembled team, possibly with some schoolboys. If you want to win over a fan base then teams like this should be soundly beaten. 1-0 ghitu ghani ?

  • The most important part these types of matches play is for building combinations and assessing individual capabilities of each player. Do not over-stretch yourselves in the hope of posting impressive results. Take it slowly boys as some of these pitches are not up-to scratch and can cause injuries. Coach Awono you should know that instant results will be demanded once the league kicks -off. So far its well-done to the team.

The idea of a bus ride to Maputo is exciting, please get details and publicize so that we can consider and make arrangements. Details would include return fare and accommodation.
