From the little I can see on this script the players were not overawed by their opponents but were punished for some mistakes (which after what football is all about). As is being said by the Chair and SG we have to move on and believe that we can do it. We also have to make the players believe. Afterall mental strength contributes a big chunk in winning a game. An example is Zambia vs Cote de Voire. So for the pessimists I believe you have said enough and now let’s give hope to the players and tech bench and compare our notes after the second leg. We have matches against Muhoroni and Tusker and these two matches will not only determine how we play the return but also how we perform in this year’s league. The standard has already been set after the second round of matches and we need to surpass that. If we win handsomely against Muhoroni and fare better against Tusker we could head the table and this should be motivation enough for the players and fans.
defensive lapse as seen and lack of concentration on the players part. but still we can make it. Let us be fast on reacting to balls and our goalkeeper needs to up his goal tactics. Like the second goal could not have been scored had he not came out earlier…..ALURTA CONTINUA is the way forward
Anguyo wil give us a lot of defensive problems, where is Nasio he has been very solid a way, even Wekesa should be used sometimes tha Yusuf. then in defensive midfield role put Peter Juma for some stability in midfield finally use Dancan Owiti with Ngwa u will get goals and penalties. A gain why do you put MUsa Muhamed as a wing back?
Looks like our problems aren’t over yet as all our strikers are still injured. Hugo, Selenge, Lavatsa and now Kiplagat. They will all miss tomorrow’s match. This is the time for Machedas, Kevos, Ballotieno and the rest to shine. Wish you all the best.
From what i have seen in the clip Gor played very composed game, paces were short and quick, opponents were mostly chasing for balls within triangle.Defence expecially central needs correction i have watched two goals coming from that area,we need stopper who can return lose balls within 18 yard quickly.pls we need more improvement in terms of concentration from our keeper.from the look, isee we can turn tables and get 4 goals in return match.Lets just return to vigorous training and add many stikers in the game.Otherwise, well done team and technical bench.
Let the technical bench give our new goalkeepers chance to prove themselves. We should know between David and , Mosoti who can partner Musa. Rama Salim should be given more playing time.
Based on the interviews of officials, it seems that Kogalo did not scout this team at all. Thats why they are all surprised that Ferroviario is a good team. Gone are the days when the Gor Mahia scouts would obtain videos of every foreign team to study them and come up with a strategy.
Musa is a big flop in right back position. Anguyo is kind of confused. Please play Nasio at the right back position and Mapunda in goal. Kevin Omondi is also a great player and failure to utilize him will only earn you an exit ticket coz fans won’t absorb more embarrassments.
“Highlights of Gor Mahia vs Ferroviario” (?)
where´s the 3rd goal?
the Ferroviario´s penalty?
and, according to the head coach Anaba Awono, the GM´s penalty?
ntv, please show the GM fans what happened in Maputo not this one-sided images. Gor Mahia were under pressure from the very beginning till 90th min.
This Awono man is a talent destroyer. Where is Mapunda, where is Wyclif Kasanya, where is Rama, where is Nasio, where is Kitawi, where is Macheda. Where is Kiplagat. This guy should just go. Hahahahahahaha. Before April this year somebody on this blog will have uttered this words. And the drama continues. Tuko pamoja kesho Nyayo. For God and my club Kogallo
Plz let stop washing our dirty linen on open air.It happend and that has already gone we forge ahead.technical bench i think u r reading this blog.KOGALO is a people driven.as per fans count on us we shall fill the stadium hence our usual.to players tuko pamoja hence YES WE CAN
Why this blue colour, can some one please explain as we do not seem to do well in the blue. What is happening, it has never been Kogalo’s colour of choice, so what is? Goal keeping problem? i thought we had a solution in Mapunda, then what?
Well its not a good start for the Mighty Kogalo but if they can show character and turn things around…then we that fans can re-live the past glory. Good luck and God Bless Kogalo
We have a strong team and I believe we can make it.Lets forget about the past but focus on the next matches.
We have a wonderful coach at the moment and he should also be given time to realise his potential.
Its GM that sets the pace in Kenyan football. We are the marking scheme as well. LETS BELIEVE.
