Kerr elated with performance

Following Gor Mahia’s 4-0 demolition of Nzoia Sugar, coach Dylan Kerr is a happy man. A far cry from the man who was disappointed after the 1-1 tie with arch rivals AFC Leopards. Kerr says he had done his research on Nzoia and knew how to dissect them.

“l had a prior information about how Nzoia play and we knew what exactly to train on for the good result. We had good finishes, something that has been a worry in matches. We trained on set pieces and our training before the match helped. I’m so happy we scored a couple of goals.” he said to Sportpesa News.

Kerr also saluted the players for the hard work they have been putting in that resulted in the great result.

“I’m proud of the players’ good professional attitude in our quest to achieve the best. That in itself is a great factor for success. We will be keeping everyone together prepared to play,” continued Kerr.

Like other KPL teams, Gor Mahia will be playing a compressed schedule. They play Chemelil Sugar on Thursday and Thika United on Sunday, two matches which should they go according to formbook, should enable Kogalo to extend their lead.

“We have two games in 48 hours but we are always focused a game at a time and keep our minds on the three points,” concluded Kerr to sportpesa news. .

  • Thika United should be relegated at all costs. That is a priority in my dreams and wishes. They need to spend the next four years in the underground league, with all the milk benefits they are currently enjoying.
With the squad available for selection, Kerr should rotate everyone to avoid fatigue and player overconfidence.
Odhoji should be tested. Joash should start ahead of Musa. Those new acquisitions should start matches on a rotational basis.
Now, Ulinzi should do us the favour of stopping Sofapaka tomorrow. I know that they can’t beat Sofa but let them just hold them to a barren draw. At least that will solidify our chances of reclaiming our title.
Don’t lose your IDs. We have some unfinished business with them next month.

Thicker United truly deserve to be bundled out.

Got players on a go-slow. Are we serious? This is how we lost the league last year. And that’s the type of news that sofapaka wants to hear

  • Ulinzi has played its part by beating Sofapaka for us. Thika thought that by defending a one goal advantage they would win the match. Donge giwuoro ka relegation zone is still theirs.
