On-form Nairobi City Stars hit-man Dan Sserenkuma could be on his way to Kenyan Premier League giants, Gor Mahia.

In an earlier interview with futaa.com, the Ugandan expressed his desire to leave the club.

Waiting for June

According to Gor Secretary General, George Bwana, Sserenkuma is one of the players in their radar and they’ll be lining-up their bid when the window opens.

-The truth of the matter is that the discussions are on. They are at an advanced stage and I think it’s a matter of time.

-Though, we do appreciate the fact that the transfer window is not yet open, we are in agreement with the player and his club.

-He is one of the players in our radar and once the window opens, we’ll begin serious negotiations with both parties, Bwana told futaa.com.

Sserenkuma has so far scored five goals for the Kawangware-based side this season.

  • I AM BACK AND RELOADED

    Great bloggers of K’Ogalo,

I am back with a bhang ! Parallels, the company hosting this site has suspended it for a while before it went live again.

Back to K’Ogalo business, the Ugandan import, Sserenkuma, who K’Ogalo is chasing his signature is a deadly striker many clubs salivate every time he is on the field. Whilst I would like to leave to the persons concerned, this time round, we want a watertight deal.
General Bwana must show us the agreement and not this good for nothing talk.

This mid season transfer window provide a great opportunity to beef up our striking squad.
Coach Logarusic and his team must seriously vouch the capability of the players they are about to buy and avoid the pitfalls of the previous seasons. The KPL rules on transfers mid season is quite clear. Only 3 players allowed to bought by any club. The likes of G. Bwana and his ilk must strictly adhere to this requirement. Just like the Euro zone currently implementing austerity measures in order to survive the current financial crisis, K’Ogalo need such measures in order to survive.

On Rama Salim not named in the Harambee Stars squad, I leave that to the good judgement of comrade bloggers to pass a verdict. In the words of PLO , the former anti- corruption czar, it is only the forest has changed because the monkeys are the same. Kimanzi just like his predecessors is keeping it safe. Reform minded coaches such as the late Reinhard Fasbich are rare breed in Kenya. What we expect on the weekend during the Kenya vs Malawi international qualifier is more Mathare United players. I can put my money on this.

Let us treat any un-finalized deals as wishful thinking or hearsay. I believe the players we have are capable of taking the league so let us not be curious over any signings and unnecessarily rushing to press to do premature announcements. However, we can sign to fill the gaps of the players recently released
