Logarusic plays down Saturday game

Zradvko Logarusic also insisted Sunday’s results will not determine who wins the league predicting it will go down to the wire.
“It is a normal match for us with no implication on where the title goes. Our opponents have two tough matches away and may still have to wait till the last day of competition to be sure of the title,” he said.
Logarusic insisted that among the two teams, Gor are the better side if one looks at the previous results.
“We have had one of the best results in the recent past. We don’t rely on one particular player but work well and better as a team and this remains our strength.
“The team is very strong at the back and in midfield but we still need to work on our finishing,” he said,
He also dismissed complaints by Karuturi coach Michael Nam that his side was awarded a dubious penalty on Saturday insisting the referee was near the action when he pointed to the spot.
“He was standing very near where the incident took place and was the only one who could make the right decision,” he said.
Logarusic challenged his Karuturi counterpart to say how many chances his team had on Saturday.
“Everyone watched the match and he should tell us the number of chances they created before complaining about the referee,” he said.
Gor won the match 1-0 but Karuturi coach was left fuming after his team conceded a penalty in the last minutes of the match.
The Karuturi coach is a man most of us K’Ogalo fans had respected by virtue of what we read about him before he joined Karuturi. Unfortunately that is not the case anymore. Not after being red-carded then he refuses to leave but instead goes and sits in the middle of the pitch thus interfering with the game. Not after openly calling Ichingwa ‘Pumbavu’ after our match last Saturday and in the full glare of TV cameras.
The Log just leave that guy alone and let him rediscover himself. He has completely lost it.
We should plan very well for Tusker. Matano is certainly not Pamzo. He knows the Log’s tactics but the Log knows little of him.
Is our midfield that good of late? Personally I think our finishing is better if they are provided with the balls.
Where is Itubu Imbem? When will Gaucho ever feature?
Our defense is reliable and I believe the way forward on Sunday is to score goals early and then seal the midfield. Tusker has a mature and very experienced midfield that if given space can cause mayhem.

Guys, Itubu Imbem is in Vietnam for trials, Akumu has malaria, Rama is suspended, Tuzo has not paid the players for 2 months, Sofapaka thumped us 4-1 in a frienly today.
What a week for GM. But on Sunday we literally take the league.
More the reason we need to pull together as fans. Let’s stop the rhetoric and concentrate on supporting the team.

Our focus always is winning the next game. Karaturi’s problem remains theirs and is history to us. My wish for the boys is to approach this game positively psyched for a win. The abscence of Rama salim should be well covered as the coach has a variety of quality options. May God give us victory on sunday.

The useless yellow cards that we keep picking are now haunting us. Most of them are due to time wasting. The boys can do better than this. The best way to waste time is to keep ball possession. I am almost certain that Jerim “Jagoal” is the next to seat out because of accumulated bookings.

ONE GAME AT A TIME
Yes, it’s one game at a time.
The strategy is helping us concentrate on each game and manage expectations of the ever restless green army. The weekend match between defending champions Tusker and second placed Gor Mahia is already heightening anxiety as the game will likely be deciding the winners of this year’s TPL.
K’Ogalo will go into the match hoping to continue their winning streak but conciously aware of Matano’s boys desire to defend the title. I am therefore expecting an entertaining match and I can’t wait to be there.
Finally i want to add my voice on the language of comrade benson disi on this honorable blog. He is very much welcome to make his contribution so long as he adheres to the strict code on this site. Our number one priority as fans is to cheer our respective clubs. This platform also gives fans a priority to meet, share the highs and lows of their clubs as well help to shape the destiny of their respective clubs. The last comment by comrade Benson is rude, disrespectiful and cheap publicity to his club. I personally demand a public apology from him failure to which we shall hand over your name to the admin for displinary action which are not specified at the moment.
The Karuturi coach should just style up……….
Loosing is part of the game and should be accepted as such.
