Logarusic rotation policy to combat fatigue

from michezoafrika.com

Gor Mahia Coach Zdravko Logarusic has hinted that he will overhaul the squad that will play in the FKF Cup Quarter final match against Western Stima on Saturday. Logarusic says that he risked fielding the same players he played against Mathare for the Oserian match.

“I took a huge gamble and it paid off. Most of these players had not had a good rest and they played again on Wednesday. We have a very busy ten days coming up. We play against Stima on Saturday then Wednesday play Ulinzi Stars and then again on Sunday play against Sony Sugar.”

“This is a very tough fixture for us and we have to be fit all through. I will rest a few players especially the midfielders and strikers for the Saturday match so that they can recover well for the other league matches,” he adds.

The Coach has also challenged the players whom he will field to ensure they keep the team’s winning trend going. Logarusic adds that it is time they speak on the pitch and justify why they don the K’Ogalo jersey.

“We have gone 16 matches including the FKF Cup and Top 8 without a loss; 13 wins and three draws. I do not expect this to go down and I want the players to live up to their billing and speak on the pitch,” adds the Croat.

  • I like Logarusic philosophy and purpose for the Club. We live for something and work with an agenda..I do not expect this to go down and I want the players to live up to their billing and speak on the pitch,” ..this is a call worth fighting to maintain. Big Up Logarusic

I agree with you Logarusic. We have enough quality players therefore let us give everybody a chance to prove why he should not be offloaded come the transfer season.
