Negotiations with Francis Kahata have stalled

According to a report on goal.com, Gor Mahia have been trying to extend Francis Kahata’s contract. But the skilfull midfielder is thus far not interested in renewing his contract.

“He is our player for now, but his contract is running out. We have engaged him twice in negotiations because we feel we still need him, but it has not been successful. We will give him time to reconsider his decision but the ball is in his court,” said Kogalo CEO Lordvick Aduda to goal.com

Kahata has not been able to regularly  command a first team place which is largely causing his discomfort at the club.

It’s OK. Even at the top negotiations hit a wall and the parties part ways amicably.. it’s part of life

  • He gave his best to Kogallo and we thank him for that. At the moment, he can’t bench Walusimbi or Wendo.
We wish him success in his next club.

Kahata don’t go. Most who left Kogallo ruined their careers. Stay and fight for a place.

  • I can remember at the beginning of the session, Hall said that his main two objectives are to take the league and to beat Kogalo this year .The worst was to finish on top of k’ogalo. …….Now he is leaving after realizing that he couldn’t do any of the above.
When Ze Maria came last year he promised that he came to take k’ogalo to the next level in the continental football. ..Am seeing nothing.
Between the above coaches , who is honest?

  • The problem with the players leaving k’ogalo is that some of them don’t go far….can somebody advise Kahata…He can be a permanent reserver. …

  • Let him follow his heart. In the presence of muguna and maloba he will still be number three in the pecking order. Players come and go but we the fans and the club will remain. #jaluooksechi

  • Kahata should get a pay rise;we need him for CAF champions league group stages.Gor should have a strong bench #jaluooksechi

  • Amos Nondi was Kahata’s understudy and substitute last season when first team place was his preserve. Now he is a substitute and so is Nondi with Muguna having cemented that number. Oliver Maloba is a strong contender for that position too should he leave. He is still a valuable player should he feel need to remain and work hard for a starting berth. Ze Maria on the other hand utilize Nondi and Maloba effeciently to groom them for future duties instead of fielding likes of Mugiraneza who can’t…#KetNyithindo
