Dennis Oliech officially put pen to paper on a two year contract with Gor Mahia. The 33 year old earlier promised to score at least 30 goals this season.
“We are happy to bring him on board for two seasons. As you know, we’ve been in search of a local striker and his signing is a reprieve. The coach was already impressed with him in training,” said CEO Omondi Aduda to the Nation.
Aduda rubbished reports about Oliech’s salary.
“I don’t know, who came up with the Sh350, 000 figure and I can categorically state that that is not true. Oliech has signed and says we should keep contract details secret. “he said to goal.com
Oliech scored 37 goals in 77 appearances for Harambee stars. Locally he played for Mathare United then Tusker. His career then took him to Qatar then to France where he played for Nantes, Auxerre and Ajaccio.
He becomes the fourth member of his family to play for Gor Mahia after Steve Okumu, Andrew Oyombe and Kennedy Oliech
