Rachier Requests Dialogue

Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has said the club will engage the Sports Stadia Management Board (SSMB) to have their ban lifted so that Sunday’s derby against AFC Leopards can go ahead.
Rachier said Gor Mahia have officially received a letter banning them from playing in facilities run by SSMB and also requiring them to pay a Sh2.8 million fine.
“We are determined that the derby goes on at Kasarani and so we will do everything within our means to ensure the ban is lifted. We are going to engage SSMB and other stakeholders in this regard,” said Rachier.
Contradiction
Vice Chairman Faiz Magak appeared to contradict the chairman when he told michezoafrika.com that the club wants the derby played at Nyayo stadium
“We are willing to pay that Sh. 1 million, we don’t have any difficulty but we are of the opinion that we host the match at Nyayo,” Said Magak to michezoafrika.com
Even though I do not have the facts about Faiz being quoted as saying that we do not have any problem in paying the fine, I think it is a misunderstanding.That kind of money being paid as fine would give any club problem. My thought line comes from a point of “not creating an impression in the minds of the hooligans that they can just cause chaos anytime because the club does not have any problem in paying the fines”. These guys must not be given room to tarnish the K’Ogalo that we love.Let us bare in mind that this money was not budgeted or planned for. I therefore agree with Rachier’s effort in engaging the SSMB for a better solution on those two things.Ja Gor adier ok ba kidi.
Who is these Faiz? he always talk nonsense,i think we have the procedure and who is suppose to speak on behalf of the club not these man who is always contradicting even himself,n by the way hii club yetu haina spokesman? because it seems everybody is speaking on behalf of the club,whom should we believe?
We need an official club spokesperson – because we keep getting contradictory statements from the EC on several subjects …..

WHAT DO YOU WANT THEM TO DO? CANT YOU SEE WE ARE CORNERED? WE HAVE A MATCH ON SUNDAY AND WE STILL DO NOT KNOW WHERE IT WILL BE PLAYED. IF WE EXPECT SOMEONE TO RESOLVE THIS, FAIZ, RACHIER SHOULD BE GIVEN TIME AND SUPPORT. THEY DID NOT TELL ANYONE TO BREAK SEATS

Hapana kusomea watu air like anyone else…and yes we are cornered Rachier especially now we need a spokesman and the club must work hand in hand with the police to identify the fans and ban them from the stadia even after imprisonment for hooliganism.
Omondi fyi Rachier and Faiz could hav kept the hooligans off the stadium by instituting policies that ensure only true Gor fans enter the stadium. I still dont know why these goons have to enter the stadium for 200 shillings when they can watch for free on Tv and let in only true Gor fans to even pay1000 shillings per game and still carry their entire families to the stadium. The goons never even pay, forcing their way in for free. So dont express your emotions over here, if you can’t make meaningful contributions then step back and just read or keep off.
Im tempted to believe that Faiz never consults the chairman before making his pronouncements hence the the reason for the unending contradictions.
If he i s the stand by spokesman then he shoul engage the chair and secretary ahead of speaking to press. Better off he should be made aware of the limits of his roles as a vice chairman.
