Sserunkuma set to attend trials

Gor Mahia’s lethal striker Dan Sserunkuma is set to attend trials at Danish side HB Koge according to a story posted on futaa.com. HB Koge featured former Harambee Stars striker Emmanuel Ake who shone for Harambee stars at the 2004 Africa Nations cup. HB Koge plays in the Danish 1st division which is the second highest league in Denmark.

This would be the second time Sserunkuma is attending trials in Europe. He also attended trials in Armenia in July of 2013.

Players attending trials is something that Gor Mahia will have to get used to and plan for because they cannot stand in a players way when he wants his career to progress to the next level.

Other Gor Mahia players who attended trials in Denmark include George Odhiambo “Blackberry” and Anthony Akumu who went to Denmark in 2010. Blackberry was signed but his career in Denmark never took off.

  • We have to wish him success. I really pray he succeeds. I hear about Robert Ssentongo. He can only be signed on condition one of the foreign players leave as per EPL rules. Could this be Sserenkuma? Kakati Ssebo gwange ogende bulungi nyo nyo nyo. Katonda wange akuwe nyingi nyonyo. Tuja kubira.

I said it. Look at my previous comments. I wish the duo well. Gentlemen look far. Where is the money in Gor. Think big. No economic activity by us we can’t sfford to msitain these good players. Where is the Gor Mahia sacco. Business and football. Gor is a good brand. Otherwise lets think small and dont complain.

The blogs reflect the high regard with which you are held in the GM circle. Despite all this you’ve remained amazingly humble.
    God bless you ssebo

  • Sserunkuma, you have made us proud. You have our full blessings to pursue greener pastures and may you succeed wherever you go. For Wanyonyi, there is nothing he has done for our great club.

How many goals has wanyonyi scored?

@PMawego, the rule on six foreigners is on fileding them at the same time but not signing them. If Sentogo is signed then that will be good for us.
@Jack Omollo, please respect other people’s decisions and stop talking ill of Wanyonyi. We should appreciate the lad gave us what he could as we moulded him to be what he is and wish him the best in future. The world is round and just like Gattuso is back you never know who will come back next. Thank God you are not in a position to determine that

Dan what do you want us to appreciate if the lad himself doesn’t recognize what gor mahia as aclub has done for him …?let him go these waluhya wamekuwa wajinga and it is the same thing lavatsa did for us,the officials pleaded with him to add even six months on his contract so that the club could get some cash from him and he refused ,Just imagine gor mahia took him from upper hill as a school student and groomed him to the extent that he could be seen by other teams and he did that.what did allan wanga do to afc…?The guy contract was over completely but being that he knew afc leopards contributed to him being seen by other clubs he accepted to add some months on his contract which was over and afc got 4.5 on him,so let wanyonyi go and don’t defend him, kweli asante ya punda ni mateke.

  • Our EC has failed us on this issue of players transfer. How can you be grooming players for free to other teams surely ?Peg all players to long term contracts and we will gain as a team and also it will be difficult for other teams to snatch them from us easily .
For wanyonyi I never admired his game while for Ssere wish you well.

Fare thee well Danny. Gor Mahia loved you but HB Koge loved you more. Hats off to you for a consistently splendid workmanship and wish you best of luck and prosperity.

  • Lol, the amazing level of confusion at GM’s EC continues unabated. All the way from AR to Amina.

The flip flop and sommersaulting can easily win Jakom AR + his EC an olympic gold medal.
Surely how do you disown your own “CEO”.
Do you really want us to believe that you weren’t privy to his appointment.
And some bloggers still don’t believe that FISH ROTS FROM THE TOP.
We are losing our top players (not the Wanyonyi fella who to me may only thrive under BW), the financial/KRA mess is slowly but surely reversing GM’s growth.

Tich en Tich. Kila ng’ato ni gi life ambitions mare. We can retain all quality if we are able to pay. What base are we building financially to retain or get the best. We need to search our souls before we deny anybody exit.
