Up Next: Rangers

The tie between Kogalo and Rangers which was earlier in doubt has been confirmed. The two will play today at Nyayo national stadium.

The match however will not be televised by Supersport due to the violent scenes seen on Sunday in the El Classico.

Gor Mahia have shown gradual improvement since the beginning of the league. JBO appears to have focused succesfully on reducing defensive lapses. What is still missing however is the ability to create and score goals. And in the last two matches Kogalo have played with only one out and out striker.

Missing will be Collin Okoth who is still injured. Ali Abondo will be serving the mandatory two match suspension. Edwin Lavatsa is set to make a much anticipated return to the starting lineup

Lineup: Wycliffe Kasaya, Solomon Nasio, Christopher Wekesah, Musa Mohammed, Teddy Akumu, Ivan Anguyo, Moses Odhiambo, Moses Otieno, Rama Salim, Dan Makori , Edwin Lavatsa.
The match kicks off at 7:00 pm

I am sure the ball now knows exactly how we feel and will therefore not let us down. Guys come out and let us show solidarity with the team.

Am fed up with superspot being used to settle scores not related to futbal, there seems to be a conspiracy to potray Gor and its fans in bad image which however is not being helped by some fans behaving badly , my take is we can also hit back at superspot , how about Kogalo funs not paying the monthly subscription for a month , a peaceful protest. Now that they have appointed Nyamweya to CAF commitee on Ethics i hope he will aslo strive to come up with compitent referees , the once we currently have in Kenya leave a sour taste in the mouth , can some one advice , what will happen if a team fails to honour the super 8 matches ? if there are no penalties then i think Kogalo can let the Shemejis have it after all , its Kogalos gate collections that most team are after , no wonder a huge fine aganist Ulinzi last year

  • mimi ndani. do you how many gor.players were hurt by the claws; midenyo, kevin, kitawi, rama and yet magelo has the audacity to continue inflaming all about the game on sunday .what agenda do you have my brother against gor pray you not politicking. hooliganism is going nowhere if it is not tackled by all, from the govt who should deal with bangh smoking and drunkards in the stadium; FKF should take full charge of football in the country; clubs shld continously educate fans and refs shld do alot of soul searching and finally each fan need to take personal responsibility for their action. FKF fining gor is not the solution neither suspending gor rather carry out a root cause analysis and develop a corrective action plan to prevent recurrence in future. what all these guys are shouting about for is correction.which to me is short term coz indeed bwana nyamweya we have a problem coz today its gor tomorrow it be leopards coz.even.among.them.there are hooligans. Food for thought y’all.

Supersport are shy of airing GOR GOONS FC games. I fear even TUZO are not comfortable sponsoring a THUGGERY CLUB even though it is political stringed sponsorship!

Gor came from a goal down to snatch a draw from financial striken Rangers, this is even worst than we played eff c leobards last weekend. now we will face sony in Nakuru. I think we still have a long way to go

  • Its not bad. Rangers are an experienced and tactical side having been moulded by David Ouma, the best coach in KPL .However we should rally and continue supporting kogalo no matter what. After all when ‘our mothers hut is leaking’ she is still ours! You do not go borrowing a mother but work on the hut ! Which is what JBO is doing. Keep fighting guys.

  • As much as we need SS I think we should not be intimidated and used as a scapegoat. Not sure how many people watch SS9 in Kenya or outside. I have never seen a bar showing SS9 East even when there is a good Kenyan game being shown live. Most, if not, all GM fans will attend our matches instead of waiting to watch it on TV. Only the GM guys in diaspora like @Kosero have a chance to watch SS9E otherwise all the rest will be on EPL or La Liga. I wonder how it feels to televise a game where the terraces are virtually empty. That’s what SS will have to contend with unless they show only all AFC matches. For us GM fans we will still be there in droves to support our beloved team.
Having said that we need to guard against antagonising our current and potential sponsors, including SS.
