Welcome back home Danny Flava

Gor Mahia has apparently reached an agreement with Dan Sserunkuma to return to the club.

According to a Daily Nation report, Sserunkuma  will receive a Sh100,000 in monthly stipend as part of the deal, alongside training allowances and match winning bonuses as stipulated by the club’s scheme.

No sign on fees will be paid to the player, who has insisted a release clause be inserted in the contract, should a foreign club express solid interest in his services.

The move is only awaiting the seal of club chairman Ambrose Rachier.

“Gor is the only home Sserunkuma knows in Kenya, he is willing to make a return, and likewise we want him back. I am certain it (the move) will happen.” the club’s assistant secretary Amina Oketch told the Nation.

Though it is a temporary move, it is welcome news for Gor Mahia fans as it came amid reports that Zdravko Logarusic was highly interested in signing the Ugandan

“Of course you all know my connection with my ‘soldiers’. I’d like to have Danni and a couple of others who we’ll reveal when the time comes,” said a confident Logaruši? to Citizen news.

With Sserunkuma returning, Gor Mahia will need to offload at least one of the foreigners in the team.

Gor Mahia paying a fortune for Nuttal’s accomodation

A report from goal.com suggests that Gor Mahia are currently housing coach Frank Nuttall at the Silver Springs Hotel where a standard room costs Sh15, 000 per day. This amounts to over Ksh 600,000 per month. It turns  out that the club has been searching for an apartment for several months.

An official speaking to goal expressed frustration.

“An apartment would cost us maybe Sh150, 000 or at most Sh200, 000. We are yet to get a suitable one but soon we hope it can be sorted out,” said our source.

Club chairman Ambrose Rachier is shouldering the burden of paying the accommodation expenses and also salary of the coach.

When Logarusic was  hired in 2012, he was housed at one of governor Kidero’s apartments. When Logarusic left, Bobby Williamson lived there. At the end of last year it was announced that Williamson would continue to live there as FKF pay for Nuttall accommodation but Williamson would eventually leave the apartment. It is now not clear how Gor Mahia lost access to that apartment. It is also absolute madness to pay Ksh 600,000 per month

Welcome back, though first team not a guarantee. You will have to work extra harder to dethrone the incumbent which will add up to a healthy and competitive striking force.

Now EC go for ASIKE who understandably from a very reliable force has put TUSKER on hold whilst aiming at joining the champions. This will solve any defensive lapses and bring back our former lad and the Kenya under 23 midfield maestro in the name of Vincent Odongo from Kariobangi Shark so that he can mould with the youthful Wafula and Omino.

  • @Ogango, Asike has already signed for Tusker and is raring for his debut in Tusker colours. Talk of reliable ‘forces’. And in my opinionda Asike is way way overrated. I will always have the inexperienced but solid Shakava in my first eleven ahead of him. As concerns Odongo, couldn’t agree more. I always enjoyed his artistry when in Gor colours during his short-lived career with Gor. Will always remember the beauty of a goal he scored while playing against some lower tier team in the then Presidents Cup. Think it was Shabana. The lad sure can entertain and deliver at the same time. All he needs to work on is his stamina, physique and speed and he will be the finished product.

  • Welcome back Danny. With Olunga, Kagere and Danny in the pitch, this will be the most dangerous forward in Kenya. The defenders will dread playing the Champions. Welcome dala.

  • Tis very true that the coach resides in Silver springs. I met him kwa lift. In any case why would we allow that to happen for that long. Am sure there r cheaper n better options. Lets treat this club as we would treat our own businesses. Imagine unnecessary expenditures and petty pilferage at the gates. Whem will all these nonsense end?

    • Welcome back Danny, I’ll be happy to see you doing what you know best for K’ogalo. On Nattal, I don’t think if it’s big issue.
Not long time ago we were told why he is staying in the hotel and who is catering for that. Unless things have changed.
I remember there was an agreement between KFF & Gor regarding Bobby Williamson’s residential. If I’m wrong I stand to be corrected.

      • @Sam Muga The Runda House donated by Gov Kidero to the club. Has Bobby refused to vacate?. The agreement was and I quote “FKF will pay nuttal accommodation till they get Bobby an alternative” Has FKF absconded in paying Nuttals’ Hotel Bills? Quiet embarrassing when we are struggling to pay players salaries and allowances

    • Does that mean the National team coach is still occupying the house our coach should b staying in? If so, then FKF should b the 1 footing our coach’s hotel bill.

I will not be surprised if it turns out that the money allegedly being paid out as coach Nuttals rent goes to individual pockets.
Kidero gave the apartment to Gor mahia,FKF undertook to pay Nutalls acommodation till they find a house for Bobby. We have not been told that FKF negated on their contractual obligation. As far as the public is concerned,FKF is still paying Gor for Nutalls accomodation.

As long as the coach is accommodated and paid, it is OK. He has not complained neither has the person paying this bills. So who are we to complain? This money is not Gor mahia’s. It is either FKF’s or a well wisher by the name Ambrose Rachier. At the moment we can only speculate with zero facts about nothing.

  • As we welcome Danny, I have not heard the Coach mention it or is it that for him, what he does on the pitch is what counts. Could he be holding on to his words because he has not seen him on the pitch?

    • The answer to your question as asked is simple Ingo, @ K’galo players get the best exposure far better than they can ever get at AFC or any other club for that matter.

@jaupanda one thing i know about “sofaset branch” is that as an individual you are always “Not worried about nothing. For God and my beloved club – Kogallo”….. And K’Ogalo keeps ON marcing ON.

        • @Ogango, thankyou for coming to the rescue of @jakoyo. He is so adamant about changing from sofaset branch. I am wondering how, this person brings their money to the club so that they are worried about who will eat it.However how I wish Jakoyo would give solid reasons for not wanting to change.

  • 1.Sserunkuma is said to have declined an offer to join rivals AFC Leopards. “Yes I heard that Ingwe were after my services but to be sincere…I was not interested.” Goal reported earlier on Thursday that Sserunkuma had already settled for a move to the league champions.

Talking of “killer instincts” then just review tapes of Flava’s goals against Ingwe and the one against Spaka that won K’galo the TPL in 2013.

IDIOTIC EC WHY LEAK “FLAVA’S” PAY TO THE MEDIA

    Karibu Dan “Flava” Serenkuma,

    2. Former Prime Minister Hon. Raila Odinga will launch the Gor Mahia Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO) in the afternoon of Sunday 17 May at the Nyayo Stadium.

The function will take place just before their Kenyan Premier League (KPL) fixture against Nakuru AllStars.

    Pay bill

-Gor Mahia Sacco will be launched on Sunday by Hon. Raila Odinga and friends of the club at Nyayo Stadium, Gor deputy secretary general Anima Oketch famously known as Ferrari revealed to futaa.com

-Fans are called on to register through Pay bill number 897260 and their national identity card number as account number then once they do; they will be contacted by someone from the Sacco office which is at Finance House on Loita Street, Nairobi to pick their copies on Mondays.

Karibu Gor Mahia Sacco. Give the rules and regulation of the our Sacco/officials. What is its relation with GMFC the club.

The Nutall accomodation saga is evidence of a shambolic EC,

And some are worried about nothing!!!!!
How when players are every other day on a go slow for non payment of their dues.

Am worried about nothing but timely payment of players/TBs salaries and allowances on TIME
