We will try the much we can to support the team financially where we can.
We need to ask ourselves why sponsors are not coming on-board and see whether there could be a solution to that, otherwise the more we cry over finances, the more we scare away quality players.
Am just wondering how we are not able to multiply what we usually get. For example if we get 2 million as gate collections, isn’t there a way we can invest to double it? There are so many investment opportunities at our disposal and I wish in 2015 EC can give us road-map and the right strategy to financial breakthrough as a club.
I know some of the fans could be willing to ‘sponsor’ the club but they are already struggling to make ends meet.
Am thinking mobilization skills and high level of accountability will work for us. For example if you ask about 500,000 people to each contribute 200/- that equals to 100 million. Most of the sponsorship we get are of about 30 million per year and therefore with 100m it will take us to about 3 years.

We need not ask ourselves why we are not getting a sponsor. We know it is hooliganism and politics.
So GM must first divorce itself thoroughly from ODM politics. As for hooliganism, we must continue to point out that it is the governments responsibility. I have yet to see anyone being jailed and convicted for hooliganism. Until that happens, some fans will continue to misbehave.

happy new year & a prosperous one to all ko’ogalo family. wish all the great minds a wonderful new year. this is the year of kusema na kutenda gaiz. kindly, why not start membership drive now? I would suggest the administration to team up with chase bank to facilitate the exercise. even if we can attract 50,000 only for a start, this one will go a long way as the beginning of making the club financially stable . let’s walk the talk. blessed

1) I pray that we shall all benefit and enjoy good health and most of all find favour from Almighty God.
2) I pray and believe that 2015 shall indeed be K’OGALO’s special year. When history is finally written, it shall be resplendent with the fact that in 2015, GOR MAHIA went for the jugular, made a vicious assault and retained the trophy in its cabinet for keeps!!
3) I hope and pray that we can crack the headache of inadequate finances and move towards sustainability through whatever means. It starts with the individual – you and me, the ardent supporters of GOR.
We must rise above the occasion and support the club in deed and action. On this score, I am fully in support of the constructive comments above by Walter Alando Bwoga and Oduori12

Thank you admin and all the true supporters who posted those educative and informative comments in 2014.Allow me to appreciate your prayers and get-well messages when I was terminally I’ll and had to go under the knife in US.You made me feel “unbuogable”when the surgery I was facing was very delicate.I can’t’ thank you individually but want you to know that I learnt I have more than 500 bothers and sisters on this site alone. I will eternally cherish that experience.2015 is here. I know there will be times we will get viral and spew venom at one another but let be as a friendly a fire as we possibly can.Without a sponsor and with a modest financial base,this team now needs more supporters than fans.People who are willing to deny themselves at the expense of the club.The EC has had a fair share of blames(and they are well documented)but this cannot negate some of the good work they have done.As we demonize them it is also okey to compliment them on the progress the club has made.Has it been all gloom?Am afraid not.Now that we know we are 500 …..and still counting can’t we commit something for the club this year?I mean the way we contributed the other bit through Mr.Charles.
