Yanga said to be pursuing Gor Mahia trio

Yanga FC, who are Gor Mahia’s rivas in  the CAF confederations cup, are said to be in the midst of trying to seal a deal with Godfrey Walusimbi, Meddie Kagere and George Odhiambo. This according to a story on goal.com

“The leadership of Yanga is in talks with Gor Mahia over George (Odhiambo), Walusimbi (Godfrey) and Kagere (Meddie) to join the team. If the talks are successful, the players will join the squad as soon as possible,” Yanga said.

Yanga are also said to be interested in AFC Leopards midfielder Whyvonne Isuza.

This is not the first time Tanzanian sides have taken aim at Kogalo players. Dan Sserunkuma also left Kogalo for Simba as did Donald Mosoti.

Yanga are in dire straits after losing 3-1 to Kakamega Homeboyz in the Sportpesa Supercup

Leaving Gor Mahia for Yanga is like leaving Real Madrid to join Sher Karuturi!! You loose all the pride of playing for a big and reknown team!!

  • Hehe sometimes i laugh yawa. How can this site have Jasego then still go about writing gik manono with no bearing?Yanga is suffering mercilessly with all their foreign players like Zambian striker Obrey Chirwa…Zimbabwean winger Donald Ngoma…An ivory coast defender plus their local Tanzanian stalwarts boycotting the last 5 matches of the Azam premier league and Caf assignment against Rayon Sport. It then follows that Kogalo is a blue eyed boy with wonderful magnificent players who any regional suffering coach and team would wish to have.Anyway in short that story originates from a Yanga Whatsapp group whereby after being trolled by Simba by endless mocks following their elimination by KK they started saying they wil pursue Kogalo’s finest.Meddie Kagere Loves GM…Walusimbi cant go Where Jasego has not agreed and Blackberry knows better that Europe is a possibility. All in all Yanga cannot buy any Mayienga player who knows what real football is.Kakamega Homeboyz displayed Yanga’s mediocrity here in Nakuru…

    • I and GM am only willing to sell Yanga the services of Kevin ‘Ade’ Omondi..Stephen Okiro and Eliud Lokuwam for 5 Million combined.I believe those 3 players can add them the much needed punch next season to challenge for their lost title…Anything else is Wishful Thinking

  • I want to tell goal.com who are the authors of this nonsense that Gor Mahia Is also pursuing Neymar , Messi , Salah and Sergio Ramos , otherwise the Admin should take cognisance of the fact this is a very serious wall with membership of a very serious club and hence he should desist from feeding as with such irrelevant nonsense .

Time to replace them and the 4 passengers who have omitted from the sportpesa cup ( they know themselves ) with affordable top notch 20 goals per season strikers from COSAFA leagues .

Secondly, me thinks walu, Berry and kagere will end up being passengers in yanga.. legendary Dan sserenkuma and mungai kiongera suffered the same fate !

I suspect these could be mind games Yanga is playing on GOR ahead of CAF ties coming up in July. If what we are reading in the press about the situation in the club is anything to go by, then this is a bad joke! I will leave at that for now as we wait for the events as they unfold.

Yanga should be given Kevin Ade even for free but the three mentioned players are not in their rank.Concerning Odhiambo, walu, kagere we can only entertain offers from Europe (not Fk Tirana) but not from the yangas of Africa.By the way Jasego this P.Manyika of Singida can be roped in if possible to awaken Bonny from his slumber. That keeper is just brilliant, our strikers will have to be at their best to score goals on Thursday.

    • Odhis foreign slot is too important to rope in a goalkeeper while our main shirtfall as a team lies elsewhere upfield. It would not be prudent plus i dont believe that Singida jeeoer Manyika JR is anywhere near our own Bonny. We will showcase his frailties on Thursday with goals galore as ingwe us to mediocre a team to expect anything serious from.Their ciach us equally useless Rodolfo Zapata cannot win any silverware during his tenure at Kenya.Ati postmatch analysis he showers ingwe players with praise forva good game.In which form and manner did they play well while you have been knocked out by Singida United?
