Blackberry interested in returning

British-born Fifa agent Ken Joseph has said that his client George ‘Blackberry’ Odhiambo would relish an opportunity to play for Gor Mahia again.
The 2010 KPL Player of the Year signed a four year contract with Danish Superliga Club Randers FC in 2011 but the agreement was mutually terminated earlier this year.
He then joined Tanzanian side Azam before falling out with the side a couple of months later.
“I know Blackberry has learnt a lot from his mistakes and has matured a lot. I have spoken with the chairman of Gor Ambrose Rachier about him and he informed me that he will meet with his coach Zdravko Logarusic to weigh all options. Alternatively, I am sure so many clubs in Kenya would love to have him,” said the agent.
“Ideally, it would be a great opportunity for ‘Blackberry’ to play for Gor and I am sure that the fans will be glad to have him back. That could work wonders to boost his confidence. What happened in Randers FC and FC Azam is in the past. Remember, his is only 19 years old, with hard-work and dedication, he can find his way back to the national team.”
Bring him back
Blackberry is a very intelligent player and should be allowed back. SISI kama Watu wa KDF we welcome him back home and hope that he has learnt his lessons. The club should be open to give him a chance to try out with us. Discipline wise, he had been of good behaviour.

Let him come back home to rediscover his form. He is still a young lad with huge potentials. He can still go places with right training and attitude.
Now that Rama is gone, Blackberry can be the perfect replacement, he can as he did earlier, terorising defenders with his pace and an eye for scoring goals, we can’t wait to see him back.
let the coach asses him, things have changed since he left…he must be ready to fit into the coach’s plans and play according to the coach’s strategy any petulance will not be tolerated…otherwise it would be a fairy tale return for a prodigal son
things have changed since he left so let loga decide
Let him come back. But then, he should be ready to adjust to the current standards of the team. He’s got the talent, lets hope disciplinewise he’ll be good as well.
We gladly need him back. He has a clean past with Gor unlike somebody like Gattuso.
Lets give him another chance he is a good player, with the coach that we have at the moment he can go far,the problem is that he left early he could have played for atleast two seasons in the local league before going proffesional,he was still lucking the xperience and the xposure. We welcome you back and what a co-incident even your no 25 shirt haina mtu Brother
I think the coach should bring Blackberry on board, with Rama gone n the sad part of it is also we are losing Moses Odhis, we really need someone with potential like Blackberry to fill the gap.
I join fellow bloggers in welcoming Odhis Black Berry back. With the current coach and football standards in Kenya, just give him only two seasons and you will see him going places, especially now that it has been said he’s only 19 yrs (though age aside, since when he left he was same 19 yrs).
@ 5 Bob Ogutu – thanks for the info; I didn’t know Rama has left. It’s only Dube I’m aware of.
I say let’s give him a chance and see if he still has it – Welcome back, “Our forever 19 year old !”
Realistically he must be around 24 but that’s a prime age to hit the top if he is disciplined. I definitely want him back! Blackberry always averaged 10 goals a season. Added to Kiongera’s 10, Sserumkuma’s 17, and Lavatsa’s 13, I see a very interesting season ahead, can’t wait! Please give him a chance back. And I love the additions in defense. With Loga back, we’ll win this league by a mile. And I expect a strong showing in continental football
Odhiambo is always our super star
…now first things first, where is the Coach
Born: December 31, 1992 (age 21)… ION; Welcome back home Berry.
Blackberry reminds us of MIKE OTIENO who paired up with Peter Dawo and late Anthony Ndolo….KOGALO 87′.MIKE WAS ALSO 19 at the time….and was helped by Ndolo’s speed on the left Wing.MIKE was RECRUITED FROM HIGH SCHOOL JUST LIKE BLACKBERRY and NDOLO was RECRUITED FROM KISUMU ALL STARTS Which was a power-house back then. DAWO was recruited from RTI .They should consider Blackberry again and give him a chance….
