Welcome Back Ibra, welcome Yusuf

Fan favourite Ibrahim Kitawi has made a return to Gor Mahia just six months after he left the club for Tusker FC.
Frustrated under coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno, Kitawi moved to Tusker and won the Kenyan Premier League title with the Ruaraka side but was eventually released last month as the club restructures.
Kitawi, a product of Fisa Academy in Nairobi’s South B, has signed a one-year contract with K’Ogalo.
The club has also signed Thika United’s Yusuf Juma.
Juma, who has emerged as one of the best fullbacks this season, earning a call-up to the national team during the East and Central Africa Senior Challenge Cup weeks ago, has been in talks with K’Ogalo over a possible transfer.
Versatile player
The player, who can play both in central defence and on the left, is yet to finalise the transfer.
Gor Mahia secretary, George Bwana, however said on Saturday what remains is a few details to be sorted out regarding the transfer before Juma becomes the club’s player.
kitawi thanx 4 knowing k’ogallo is a home 2 be welcome back home boy also taking the opportunity 2 welcome yusuf 2 the home of all thus k’ogallo family we love everybody in the family.
WELCOME HOME IBRA
The entire K’ogalo family would like to warmly welcome back Ibra home.
It is like a dream come true for most of the k’ogalo family who mourned for weeks when the lad left the club in a huff. This site in particular was jammed with all manner of speculations as to reasons why Ibra left the club. I do not want to repeat the rumors. But just to illustrate how the rumor mills moved around, a section of our fans ‘believed ‘ that this was a deliberate move by the former coach to sideline some players who were recruited by Sianga and eventually kill their careers. Some even suggested that some players are no longer proud to wear the club jersey.
We went out of our way to put the situation in proper perspective including challenging the spin masters in this club to substantiate their claim. None of their allegations held any water.
Ibra is a perfect example of most players who hold this club highly. And that is why, when an opportunity present itself, they seize it immediately. We welcome the decision taken by Ibra to join us again and contribute to the overall objective of the club which is winning the coveted Kenyan premier league trophy.
I once again urge our supporters to give the lad the moral support he need both on and off the field. Kitawi join the team at a time when they are scheduled to feature in the confederation cup after winning the FKL trophy last season. I would like also to welcome the new signings and wish them the best in their assignments.
@pareyio ole lelerue, do not be philosophical over the matter. It was true Ibra was booted out by the former coach and there is nothing to be hidden on the matter. However it is good to welcome him back to our club.
Ope he will measure to the expectations of the fans otherwise welcome back and wish you all the best in GM

ibra your work ethics is not wanted in GOR . you hold the ball for too long, you dont read your players, your passing is erratic and your footwork dazzles and confuses your teammates. you need to work on your weaknesses if you are to secure a starting line up at gor mahia.
