are we identifying any new players in the tour?

  • @Pundit I hope so since players like Makori, BB and Macheda were discovered from these tours. There was also the MVP of Sudanese origin from Sakata tourney whose ambition was to play for GM who should be given a chance. As much as experience is what will count next year but for posterity we need to identify talent and lock/sign them into GM. I hope the U19 team players are also available and being groomed to take over. I also noticed that during the pre-season tour we are yet to conceed a goal. Not sure if it’s a good defence or weak opposition but looks like we need to sharpen the attacking more.

  • On another note the drama on PPO is now irritating. Since both sides have agreed to part ways the sooner they do the better. From my experience it’s harder to get good strikers and midfielders than defenders. After all now we have David and Wahome at the back and if need be Jakambare is also now a free agent. At the top of Jakambare’s game PPO was relegated to the bench. Since his only problem was to fall out with the former coach (Just like Ibra) I believe we can still have him back and let PPO have his wish. After all he gave out his best while still at GM.

Who is Victor Ali? A fan who was watching live told me the pace of the game was frenetic. I think we r bracing for Gus times. Let’s sign a right back and Kagire quickly

Victor Ali is also known as Ali Abondo. My recollection is that he played ball at the coast before moving to Nairobi.

When I watched play he was very active in the field with good ball control and pace. But then the Ale boys let him go! Like all the other players he has to fight for a starting position in Kogalo. Wishing him good luck.

    Hi All,
We should be careful in our signings to get attacking and tactical depth right this time. Lets not end up like AFC who never saw a striker they didn’t want to sign and end up with 10 strikers where only 1 will be fielded.
