Gor Mahia to play 5 matches in 14 days
With the African Champions league behind them, Gor Mahia are set to return to the Kenya Premier League where they hope to make amends for the early and unceremonious exit.
However there will be little time to rest and they face a steep backlog of matches between now and the end of March. They will play 5 matches in a 2 week span. The schedule posted on the KPL site is as follows:
This is a punishing schedule by any standards. Gor Mahia will be lucky to avoid fatigue related injuries. And this schedule leaves very little time for training and game planning. It is not clear why KPL are in such a rush to schedule Gor Mahia matches.
ts a busy shedule, but to me having a strong bench power we will win all games n Jesus Christ’s name.go n show them y….
Gor has the depth. Tutatoboa. I agree it’s tight but all our players are some of the best in the country. Fans, let’s come out and support them.
we have proved that we can retain the title.
The fixtures are tight but we will get the 15 Points in Jesus name. Fixtures will enable even the bench to have a chance of play.
It’s only two games above the rest so no cause for worry
In the name of the Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit we shall come out victorious………..AMEN
Someone is running broke and they need to milk the cow?after these
We have enough depth in the squad.this is the time for everyone to stand up and be counted. If we do our mathematics correctly,I di not see any reason why should collect maximum points by end of March.
Battle start with Western Stima this weekend.they are currently league leaders,if we thrash them, we gain some advantage over the rest.
Admin, please prepare well starting this Sunday so the team can maximize on gate collections.the team desparately needs this cash.I would hate to see a repeat of what happened when we hosted City Stars at City Stadium.tickets were insufficient and more than 300fans forced their way in and SAT IN VIP SECTION FOR FREE…………..Does this pinch any official who truly cares for this Mighty Club?
I have faith in K’ogallo.
Dear K’Ogalo, we are ready to support you in your endeavor to retain the title. This will also give you an opportunity to mature as a team as well as develop strong endurance. Our failure to progress is a blessing in disguise. Personally, am relieved after the coaches told us the truth in regards to the gaps between us and Esperance. It is an opportunity to dust our feet and move on with our heads high up. Let the music begin.
gate brokers time plz we nd money
Must we play matches in this poor dilapidated stadium called “city stadium” ?
Persistent play at city stadium grounds where turf is literally worn out is one of the reason why we were thrashed 5-0 in a very nice pitch in Tunis. Look at the way players were faling over and over……..When will gor Mahia players ever be exposed to nice pitches like nyayo stadium, kisumu stadium, machakos stadium et.c e.t.c
EC please stop this obsession with city stadium.
Jakoyo nyayo sometimes is ever busy with other functions its not just for football but for other things also,so if u dont get it booked before or if u found its already booked what do u want the EC to do seriously, sometimes lets not just critic just for the sake of it yawa
The team comprise of professional and they know that, the technical bench to do their work and take each game seriously, no time for rhetoric and media shows… We need some team work, accurate passes, ball control, aggressiveness, vigor and precision especially upfront. Let us cheer the team with confidence knowing that the boys are doing what they know best. Dont underrate any of those teams. Go K’Ogallo Go…….
Yaah!..ni 2 vle waswahili walisema kuna kupanda na kushuka..najua wazee hawafeel poa,na pia najua mafans watatoklezea sunday kwa wingi kusapot team ye2
i luv u gor
On this, I can bet we will collect Maximum points if only we play the way we did against a well resource endowed Tunisian side in Nairobi. The way the team played against the Tunisian team, No KPL side will be able to handle Kogalo.
Wee luOr bwana,,,av faith or boat chuse one,nd u wil b okay ME i av yie,we gonna make it mani…gor mahia kogalo mayienga mayiengo piny tiriririrrrrr.
Gor the mighty will overcome. Esperance behind us. Our team has hardly been together 3 months. We need to support team and be real. Proper moral, psychological and Financia support. Did someone read Standard second last page. INGWE SACCO. We procastinate alot. Someone must have told them we were debating on Gor Sacco. We talk others action. They are contributiong 1, 000 and 500. Is that not what we said. Here we are again.. Gor I love you. I hope others really do. I am strongly for anarm that will save us for good. We have good players. If we cannot assure them of future they will go.
It is good Gor lost to a better side in Tunis, which has come with experience to help them in the fight to maintain the league title… go on boyz.
I wish you well K’ogalo, I know you can, the remaining 14 matches are not a threat to you and we the fans
If you look at the way Gor Mahia played in Tunis, I do not see any obstacle with those fixtures. Its just unfortunate that we did not get a goal in Tunis especially in the first half. But believe me you, those five fixtures, its very likely Gor will collect all the 15 points. The worst they can do is a draw, Western stima 3 points already in the bag, Thika united 3 points, Top Fry obvious 3 points, Tusker could go either way but not lose the three points and finally Bandari who are struggling, 3 points.
