Mubiru injured during trials

KCC FC’s youthful striker Eddie Mubiru’s chances of joining Kenyan Premier League side Gor Mahia FC hit a snag yesterday after he sustained an injury. Speaking to Futaa.com Kenya’s leading sports website, Coach Logarusic Zradrak lamented.”Mubiru got injured but we’ll see what to do with him. My opinion is that he is not ready to be a starter. That is my first impression”. This comes as a blow to the former St. Mary’s Kitende student who also missed out on signing for the side in January

when the club failed to beat the transfer deadline. The Croatian will

however consider the Ugandan when he recovers if we are to go by his statement. “He is injured right now and we could not observe him properly. That means we have to wait for him to recover then we make a decision”, Lagorusic concluded. Gor Mahia already has two Ugandans in their ranks in midfielder Ivan Anguyo and Dan Sserunkuma who signed for the side yesterday from Nairobi City Stars.

Mubiru is not new in Gor Mahia. For an 18-year-old, his short footballing career is already well-decorated. He has proved himself in the East African High school soccer platform. He has always been impressive each time he has had a training stint with us. This lad has a track record that speaks for itself. If he is injured now, he will not stay injured for ever. Soon he will be healed….!

A whole two weeks GM has not yet concluded on Eddie Mubiru’s trials issue yet he has been training with us? Guys let us be serious. Who called him fist of all? And during these two weeks how has he been performing, leave alone the injuries…These GM’s trials are unique! Logarusic take this boy or release him immediately to rejoin his club.

  • Let the coach do what he knows best. He knows the type of players he want those who can run and think at the same time period. Lets give him a free hands period…………….?

  • Take him (Mubiru) and I will pay his salary for six months. I do not want to leave my name and details here but if you sign him, I will call the club personally and remit his six months salary even be he begins playing.

Hi Coach. Take up this boy before he joins another club after which he will be sold to Gor at a fortune. The way you handling this issue is not desirable as we are craving for him. Please avoid doing things Kimanzi way as is known not to entertain alternative views and you caan see what he has brought from Namibia and Togo. This is your boy take him immediately
