Logarusic less than satisfied

Gor Mahia might have thrashed Kisii County League side 5-2 in their first FKF Cup match on Sunday afternoon but Zdravko Logarusic was not a happy man after the game. The coach who made changes to the squad from the side that beat Tusker 1-0 in the KPL top 8 on Thursday said most of the players have a long way to go to cement their positions in the starting eleven.
“Some players have been loud in the dressing room citing lack of playing time. And finally when we did give them a chance, they put us in a compromising situation. I want them to talk in the pitch and play well. Yes we take credit as winners however that was a lackluster performance,” said the tactician
Logarusic denied he underrated the little known Borabu Chiefs going to the match, adding that in cup competitions any team is capable of winning.
“It’s anyone’s game in cup competitions. Our opponents played quite well today. Going to the break we were being held at 2-2. We had to act quickly to save the sinking ship. I had to make all three changes after the interval. They paid luckily off.”
“The league might be way beyond us somehow; we want to win all our remaining matches to boost the little hopes of a good finish. As defending champions, we want to win the cup and represent the country in the continental stage. I want our fans to know we are not giving up though on winning the league,” concludes Logarusic.
yah bla bla bla
Mr Bwana make sure you pay the players.
Logarusic that is really good focus -high standards always; every win motivates players, coach, technical bench and fans. Let players fight for starting line up always so that whenever one is given a chance, he doesn’t take it for grunted. The substitutes you did were well-thought just like you did when you realized Tusker were taking control of our mid-field last Thursday. Congrats.
It’s actually worrying that some of our best players like Daddy and Master seem not to be at their best even with a coach like Lugarosic at the helm. As the coach has said the reserve players were given this chance to shine. Let’s not be surprised if some players are loaded off again at the end of the season.
We cannot rely on Dan and Rama all the time. We need some cover for them
What happened to Yusuf Juma? I had thought he would be better at full back left than the heavier Wekesa
the midfield is wanting something needs to be done urgently
Coaches ko,Galo is on your hand pleas continue with your work we are behind you because we want to win tro phies.
We need to recruit more midfielders in Gor MAhia and that is the strength of Tusker even though we beat them. i dont want to mention on individual players performance but currently we have only one no 6 in team if he is out then we are done.
Guys i think we have a leadership crisis, if Honourable chairman was away does it mean that players must go hungry?
I now understand why its almost impossible to turn GM into a formidable self sustaining club. The more we change leaders the more they remain the same..Hyenas.
So Sad.
That aside i believe deeply that we will beat Tursker. Remember rumours has it that players were on go slow last sunday..(I’ve called it rumours do not devour me. Lets hope the Chair will guide the team through the crisis.
We pray we win against both Tusker tomorrow and Western Stima next month.Tusker is a super team with very efficient and experienced mid fielders
