Former players complain of unpaid dues

A number of former Gor Mahia players who were released in the midseason transfer period are demanding that the club obeys its contractual agreement with them that they should be paid two months’ dues following the termination of their contracts.
The players, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told futaa.com that the club had promised to pay up two weeks after they were released but that since turned into an empty promise as they were again told to wait until the club signs a new deal with sponsors, Tuzo.
Not yet paid
Two months down the line, they have not been paid and believe the club is taking them for a ride.
-We were still under contract with them when they sent us packing and it should, normally follow that they pay us for the termination. The contract says they should pay two months’ salary in this case and they promised to clear it two weeks after releasing us.
Not committed
-Right after that they shifted to telling us we wait until they sign a new deal with Tuzo but still they are not showing any kind of commitment even after signing the deal. They are clearly not interested in fulfilling their end of the agreement which is very wrong for a club like Gor Mahia, the players said.
On seeking the club’s say on the matter, the deputy secretary general Ronald Ngala declined to comment on it until the identities of the players who spoke to futaa.com are released.
Sasa nini hii. What do you need the names for? If executive community has paid just say so, and produce evidence unless players do sign for their cash envelopes. Wacha until KRA starts investigating the office, those guys are tough and ruthless. WHO WILL PAY THE HEFTY PENALTIES??
If you have’nt paid just say so and say when you will pay.
Most importantly I hope that current players and team are being paid their due, winning bonus included.
Surely AR its your 3rd term as chairman, together with Kilo and Ngala AND THE CLUB HAS NO STRUCTURES.
Let’s give TEAM LEGENDS A CHANCE I.E A LEAN OFFICE OF 5 WITH LIKES OF OBWAKA, LULE,SIANGA & MAKAMU BUT WITH A FULL TIME CEO AND FINANCE & ADMIN MANAGER.
This is not news to me. Management have no interest vested in us current players and former players.
Officials are not keen on structures since that will give auditors easy time to check their expenditure. At this time and age, you pay such a big population of employees to pay salaries in envelopes. I think Tuzo pays salos just like the rest of their employees. Working under no structures is dangerous to naturing these young talents.
