Gor Mahia at the FOYA awards
The Kenyan Premier League Footballer Of The Year Awards were held on Wednesday night gala dinner at the Safari Park Hotel.
Eric Masika finished as runner up to Pascal Ochieng in the defender of the year awards. Pascal probably earned the edge due to his goal scoring ability which saw him finish as one of the league’s leading scorers despite being a defender. Masika had a solid year and was the rock that held the Kogalo defence.
Other Kogalo players nominated were Jerim Onyango for goalkeeper of the year and Collins Okoth for midfielder of the year. Rama Salim, a transfer target of Gor Mahia was voted as new player of the year. This year was a starke contrast to last year when Blackberry and coach Zico were victorious.
GUYS IF WHAT IREAD AT gorfc.com is true THEN THE EARLIER THE BETTER ACTION HAS TO BE TAKEN AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE.
Gattusso is kenya future midfielder and kimanzi has to build harambee stars around him! Masika kenyan defender and lavatsa kenyan striker and harambee stars will be a force in africa!
Kitawi out as Tusker axe 9 players. I thought I read on this blog that Kitawi was performing miracles at Tusker. Sammy Omollo is a talent destroyer. For God and my club Kogallo.
@Albert Kosero (Sofaset Branch – Kampala), it was ZD that was a career destroyer. ZD was squarely 100% responsible for finishing Kitawi. The matter here is not about Omollo but who was initially coaching Kitawi?
Why do like you like to quote “For God and my club Kogallo”. Stop personalising the club here and you better write “For God and our club Kogallo” as Kogallo belongs to all of us.
