Oboya joined Gor Mahia in the June window on a short term loan and his move to K’Ogalo was only pending with release of transfer certificate
Kenyan Premier League side Gor Mahia is still waiting response from Slovakian Football Federation on their request for Patrick Oboya’s International Transfer Certificate.
Oboya joined Gor Mahia in the June transfer window on a short term loan and his move to K’Ogalo was only pending with an ITC transfer yet to be submitted.
According to Gor Mahia assistant secretary General Ronald Ngala, they already requested for the certificate but the Slovak Federation are yet to communicate on the same.
“We requested for the ITC on June 30th but we have not received any response. We will be waiting for the official 14 day rule to elapse then we get the temporary permit from the federation for Oboya to play.
“All other paperwork has been done and he already has a release letter from his club,” Ngala told Goal.
Whether or not the ITC is sent from the Slovak Federation, Oboya should be able to play once the league resumes in two weeks.
This is normal when teams in Europe are dealing with African clubs and associations. All the same the law allows u to use the player after 30 days with or without the ITC
I hope that Oboya is just Oboya that we knew during his days with HS.bcos I know Bobby will not just field him bcos he is Oboya but bcos of his performance on the field of play.
The delay in sending the ITC is not good for both the team and the player owing to the fact that the loan period is short. I’M longing to See the effect of Rama, Sserenkuma, Mutiso, Kiongera and Oboya partnership. By the way does some body know how much cash was collected in the Thika vs Afc match at Kasarani, I’m informed Bandari VS Gor netted one point three M.
Someone please post me on the outcome of the friendly we played yesterday at City Stadium against Modern Coast Rangers.
Five Kogalo staters against Botswana: Jerim,Musa,Owino,Akumu and Lavatsa….Rama, Kiongera on bench. Oboya should play after the waiting time and thats likely to be by restart of the league; great, lets wait and see and I agree with Michael above, lets hope its the same player that we used to know.
Gor.Mahia 5 Coast Rangers 1
Thank you Michael.
5 -1 ? how many goals were penalties ……
Gor mahia is making the national team with six players fielded in a single match and one in the bench. I tell you three more Kogalo players are still pending call up. Kevo, …………… I hope Lavatsa and Akumu will bring the same foot they used in Zambia to Gor.
I’m sill worried about our mid-field though I’m confident Bobby Williamson will do something.
Gor mahia is my best team in Africa.
