Gor Mahia take on Bidco

After missing out on an opportunity to play KCB, Gor Mahia will now play Bidco FC in their first match of 2015.

Coach Frank Nuttall has had an opportunity to work with his new charges for a week now. This is first chance to test combinations.

Though this is not a real test, it will Gor Mahia fans a chance to see the new signings in action. Collins Okoth and Dirkir Glay will likely not play after they picked up minor injuries.

Gor Mahia fans for their part will be eager to see the new signings in action.

@jakoyo, a pipe dream. A win is a win even if it through the hand of God as long as referee points the centre of the pitch for a restart.

Gor Mahia will on Saturday 17 January present their newly signed players to the fans at the Nairobi City Stadium.

Gor have been the most active Kenyan club in the transfer market. They unveiled 17 newly acquired players a weeks ago and according to club’s Organizing Secretary, David Kiilo the new signings will be officially presented to the fans on Saturday before the kick off of the friendly match pitting Gor Mahia against National Super League side, Bidco United.

    Official presentation

-We will officially present our players to fans tomorrow (Saturday). We have done massive recruitment during this transfer window and our fans are not familiar with a number of players we have acquired, and as such we will present all the players one by one so that the fans can get to know them.

-The event will kick off at 1500Hrs and we urge our fans to turn out in large numbers; get to know their new players and support the team for our match against Bidco United, he said.
