  • Goodluck boys & I hope u will rise above all odds & win the match.
I also hope that Bobby williamson will keep faith in Erick Ochien’g since he is in top form & Akumu is just from injury & lacks match fitness. Its not that Akumu is a bad player but I wud prefer Erick to Akumu. Akumu is more defensive just like Kizito unlike Erick who is attack minded which is what we as k’ogalo play. But anyway it is Bobbys responsibility to choose who to play in any match.God bless Gor mahia k’ogalo.

Scotsman Bobby Williamson once again an opportunity presents itself for you to prove that you are a better tactician than Zico. Remember you have never beaten Zico in the regulation 90 minutes both at national and club levels. Wish you all the best this time round. Just believe you can do it. Remember you only need to beat for us Zico and Efusi and fans will flock back to the terraces in droves.

To Ingo and Bill Wabz congratulations for finally breaking the jinx over Brewkenge. It is good to see Efusi climb to a more respectable position in the log, however, remember to keep a safe and respectable social distance from us since you are our in-laws. Don’t come too close.

  • @ BB ati Brewkenge, thanks for the humour to brighten up our gloomy sitution.

To the TB & players all the best. Honestly with all the challenges you’ve done well. Hang in there “with O.T’s permission I award you” the honour of being The Real Gor Mahians honour(RGM).

BW,I am among those who called for your resignation but who’ve got your act together of late and i’ve no option but to tone down & I hope that you’ll shut me up completely with more exciting wins.

Now bloggers its an open & well known strategy that when KRA flexes its muscles against you for tax evasion you reinvent yourself.

Its time for GM stakeholders to form a new and separate legal “GM” entity (cooperative/company) to “bail out” the broke and bankrupt GM Society / Football club.

KRA cannot freeze the accounts of this new & separate GM entity or demand that it settles the tax bill which is not its creation.

Am looking at a scenario where GMFC survives only on gate collections and provides for payment of the renegotiated tax bill (which should not be more than 30% of the 118 estimate) at a monthly rate of not more than kshs.300k per month.

The basis of this is that the entity responsible for the tax bill GM Football club is broke and KRA has no option but to accept its terms of payments. GMFC (thank God, a rare benefit of GM’s mismanagement) has no assets (apart from the bus)that KRA can raid to recover the tax.
***Note even banks accept defaulters terms of repayment however long the repayment period or little the repayment amount.***

GMFC can only pay KRA what is left after meeting its basic running expenses i.e players salaries. This is an agreement that GMFC can enforce in court. Its not in KRA’s interest to paralyze GMFC’s operations especially as it will be now be a compliant taxpayer.

This new GM cooperative (my preferance)/company in exchange for a monthly sustenance “grant” to GMFC should take over all the commercial activities leaving the club to concentrate on purely footballing matters. This way KRA will have no option but to play ball.

As of now I think the only business left for AR to do in GMFC is to agree with KRA the minimal tax bill and longest payment period of the same and then resign together with the re-elected officials.

Am ready with my shs.500/month for GM but am not putting it in AR straw basket / agulu motuch. As the Village aptly put through our hero worship we actually “sold” GM to AR & Co. This group has an iron grip on GMFC & I doubt if they are willingly to let go.
For GM to move forward AR & must leave or genuinely change (something that I thought possible but Kassam rightly doubted.)
These ideas have been floated but i pray we act on them and sorry for the long article.

  • I totally support the idea of registering a separate entity to manage Gor. This is the perfect opportunity to form Gor Ltd. I know of thousands of the middle class who want to buy shares in Gor. It’s mind boggling to imagine how much money Gor can raise through a rights issue or private listing. On Wed I was disheartened to learn that only kes270k had been collected through the mpesa account. But the EC can allocate shares starting with the mpesa contributors and target the middle class….

Congratulations Bobby Williamson for finally putting Zico where he belongs. You have given us more reason to believe in you. Your lineup today showed that you are no longer predictable and is ready to take your opponents by absolute surprise. To the fans please take note of how mush these boys are sacrificing to keep a smile in our hearts….Surely we have no option but to continue contributing for their salaries and match-winning bonuses.
