Gor Mahia targetting Dennis Odhiambo

2013 Kenya Premier League (KPL) champions Gor Mahia are said to be targeting the signature of Thika United skipper Dennis Omino Odhiambo as a replacement for the departing Donald Mosoti.

Reliable sources say the player has been approached with the deal not yet finalized.

Extra

-Odhiambo has been approached by the club officials for a possible move to Kogalo since the club needs an extra centre back as well as a defensive midfielder and he (Odhiambo) has both abilities with his experience too a plus.

The Green Army were earlier eying Sofapaka’s James Situma but were left with no otherwise when they learnt of the player’s move to rivals AFC Leopards.

Odhiambo has once featured for South African club Thanda Royal Zulu.

Aboud Omar

Gor Mahia are said to be interested in the services of Tusker FC and Harambee Stars left back Abud Omar.

According to an official who spoke on condition of anonymity, the club are eying Omar as an option should they fail to land Ugandan Godfrey Walusimbi.

Roping in

-We are looking at roping in Abud (Omar) should Walusimbi (Godfrey) deal fail. Omar is good and young given time he can help the club to achieve its ambitions.

When asked on the interest, the former Bandari FC despised the reports as rumours.

To me Dave Otieno was equally good, but as they say maji yakimwagika haya zoleki.

so who are you telling know, this are what has failed you just some weeks back when you kept on yapping that you wanted to sign mude and situma know they have been signed by afc, again you talked of walusimbi and sofapaka again on his neck to sign him.trade carefully why make a lot of noise, odhiambo is agood player but has recurring knee injury that is why he has been off and on at thika so i don’t see him adding any value at gor mahia.

If Dennis has a recurring knee injury then GM rehabiliation centre is the ideal place 4 him. Remember JaBrazil, Oboya just 2 mention a few.
As we r always targetting from the days of Ugandan Mbiru, Rwandese Kagere again just 2 mention a few.
Finally ati Hon.J Pesa is vieing 4 Vice Chair no.2/3. Surely without a fulltime secretariat GM position is a fulltime job.How will an MP manage.
R GM positions 4 the prosperity of the club/football or just paper positions.
    Finally yes players will always……

join/leave GM. Yes its the players rights but 2 those espousing this fact r admitting that GM.is not a serious club but rather a groomingly ground/academy. Alls gains of 2013 may b reversed & we proudly restart again & again.
Of course we can’t afford 2 pay as well as the Tz clubs but how can we with corruption flourishing at the gate, with GM merchandize. MOST CRUCIAL REVENUE STREAMS R DEAD IN GM COZ WE PREFER PERSONALITIES INSTEAD OF STRUCTURES.
REMEMBER THE FREE FALL FROM THE HIGH OF 1987.

Gor Mahia scouts bure kabisa. Just talking and doing nothing. Gor is not a club to run for players in the relegating teams like karuturu yet there were good players who were doing well in CECAFA. Remember we are going to play CAF Champion and we need experience players not players with injury. KAZI YENU NI KUONGEA TUNATAKA NA HAMCHUKUI. Afc is buzy shopping good players as u still play politics. We need to retain KPL trophy for the 2nd time, we dont want embarrasement. IDIOT

What in the world is going on at GM? Signing a player with injury and bring in outfits that their skills are really wanting!? Let’s wait and see what they can do.

When we needed him most at the peak of his form, when he had no injury worries, he spurned us and chose to go to SA. His plan flopped in SA then he preferred Thika. Now he has an injury and he is ready to talk! K’Ogalo the sick bay and rehab centre.

Gor Mahia for your information bloggers has no scouts. the scout in GM is George Bwana. on Thursday after Harambee stars game I saw him talking to Aboud Omar exchanging contacts, talking to the media then seeking anomity. The technical bench started on aright note by not spilling out the names of the players to be signed but, this Bwana guy exposes everything that is happening in GM.can’t the voters get rid of this man coz he is messing up the club affairs. or else he nave to learn to do things in professional manner.
