Gor Mahia to lodge complaint against Sserunkuma’s agent

Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has confirmed that the club will be seeking legal redress against FIFA accredited Agent who is in the middle of the Danny Sserenkuma mysterious disappearance from the club without authority.
Ken Joseph who is said to be a Nigeria nationality is the brain behind Sserunkuma’s move despite the player having a contract that will keep him at the club until next year.Armenia Premier League club FC Banants has reportedly offered the Ugandan a contract.
The Ugandan forward who was voted Kenya premier League best player last year is out of the country in search of greener pastures together with fellow forward Rama Salim. They are said to be in Armenia and Qatar respectively.
Rachier termed the behavior from the agent as orthodox, unethical and unaccepted leading to the decision from K’Ogallo board members to report the agent to Fifa as soon as possible.
“ The man is a Fifa accredited agent who has all the rules at his finger tips. We can’t accept such behaviors from someone who understands the law. What he did sneaking players from the country is very wrong and unlawful.” Added an angry Nairobi lawyer.
“Gor Mahia just like any other club has laid down rules that govern us. We shall take the case seriously to ensure no repeat happens in the future.” He noted.
He said the club has disciplinary actions that will be impounded on the players for absconding duty when expected to be on the ground training and playing. “There is need to work within the law and not stepping on other’s rights as we protect our own.” He said.
This is not the first time for a player from the club to pull such stunts as Congolese International Itubu Imbem walked out on the club with nobody tracing his whereabouts.
“We hope he is at home and not playing. When he decide to play he should contact us and seek a proper transfer.” He added.
Rachier on the same note called on the league governing body in the country (KPL) to work with the other established leagues in the world in order to reduce the disparities in running of the season.
He said the league should be aligned to start at the same period like most of the major leagues to avoid cases of players leaving when the league is ongoing.
“ Uganda and Tanzania have already moved in that direction. Kenya too has to work to make the aligning possible. That way we shouldn’t be experiencing players moving in the middle of the season.” He said.
On Monday, Gor Mahia announced the suspension of goalkeeper trainer Iddi Salim who was said to have collaborated with the other player Rama Salim to leave the country without following proper channels.
I support this idea. The EC should not enter into any contract agreement with any club over the two players until proper chanels followed.
Let us not cheat ourselves. This issue requires some tact to settle. We all know that you can force a player to be a gor player but not to play for gor. Who loses in that instance.
The EC knows what they were doing but the only problem is that it backfired and fans are asking questions. It’s like the govt when faced with a crisis will create some diversionary tactics to sway people’s thinking. All the same what we need is to sobber up and pick the pieces and whatever cash the transfers can get for us. After all Rama has a contrct only till November after which he will be a free agent. For Danny I’m not sure. That money can even be used to pay for the damages then we fight for the 10m league money and we will be home and dry.
Crying over a poisoned relationship will not help. All we need is now to manage the goons within us or they will start to look for any reason to cause mayhem pretending they love gor more than the rest of the fans.
By the way I get upset when I hear Faiz saying that the damages were caused by other goons and not gor. I wish he should sit in the terraces with the rest of the fans to know what happens there.
By this time the EC should be organising with well-wishers how to do damage control and meet the SSMB to reach a solution on how to handle the damages instead of living in denial. We denied the Muthurwa incident until we realised that we were the losers and it only required us to lean back a bit and everything went on smoothly when we had a bigger crowd during the Karaturi match.
Dan original, sorry but what happened in Muthurwa since its my hood though out of the country. thanks bro.
Besides rebuilding our beloved MIGHTY GOR MAHIA F.C. we the followers should seriously reconsider the rebuilding of the feeder teams such as KISUMU HOTSTARS F.C. KISUMU BLACKSTARS F.C. LAKE WARRIORS MOMBASA. This will ensure that OUR MIGHTY KOGALLO has a continuous stream of wonderful players
.
@2 Dan, it is true you cant force a player to stay in the club, but at the same time if they are left to move like that then the club will go nowhere. I once said that the player’s success is what every body wants but everything has to be done in a proper way. Infact in Europe where we wish them to go, things are more strict and very tight rules. They never tolarate such. If what Rachier said is true then the club has to be strict to act as a lesson. Let them even stay out of play but still within the club, they will learn to have discipline.
AR what do the 13 other officials do. I think some are involved in this saga that’s why since you are unable to tackle them its best to freeze the transactions. Its the only way. Faiz from his comment is clearly invovled in the Rama debacle.
MY ADVICE GIVE OUT THE ELECTION DATE & RULES
LETS VOTE TEAM LEGENDS I.E OBWAKA,LULE , SIANGA IN A LEAN EC WITH A CEO,FINANCE & ADMIN AND STRUCTURES
Now Oduor12 you have grasped it a CEO to run the club and a finance guy.
You see AR is just yapping he is not in charge and why 13 officials?Reduce that to 4 elected officials and let the rest be employees who can be controlled and have job specifications, professionals with salaries at the current market rate to run the club, we need a full time office running Gor is a big team and that is how it should be.For Rachier, he has done an excellent job its time for him to exit the scene don’t re elect him we need someone else to move to the next level.
Now for Rama and Danny Kogalo did not recognize their potential, why did they not even sms their intention in confidence to AR? because Gor is heavy handed therefore they decided to go na liwe liwalo so don’t frustrate the players take 2m each from the transfers i.e. 4m and pay for the damages at Kasarani don’t try to argue like fools over the hooligans as we cant escape that and as a warning shot start winning the confidence of the players i told you that the next big star to leave will be Mungai Kiongera wake up and smell the coffee!I hate those people running Gor for lack of capacity inefficiency and high handedness vote them out!
