Let peace reign as Gor Mahia take on Mathare
Gor Mahia will travel to Machakos on Sunday to take on Mathare United at the newly refurbished Kenyatta stadium. Mathare along with Sofapaka are using the stadium as their home ground.
In past years, Gor Mahia brought pomp and circumstance to towns like Thika when they visited and the local merchants did a roaring business. We expect much of the same today.
But there will always be that small segment of fans who might look to cause trouble should results not go their way. It is important for Kogalo fans to police themselves because the media will be keenly watching and ready to highlight any mis-steps by Kogalo fans given that this is a newly rebuilt stadium. The last thing the clubs needs is headlines referring to damage at the newlly refurbished stadium.

Gamwise Gor Mahia will be looking for their second victory when they take on Mathare United at Machakos Municipal Stadium on Sunday.
K’Ogalo could not have wished for a perfect start when they stopped Nairobi City Stars 2-0 last Wednesday and have a chance to be at the top of the standings this early in the season.
Gor Mahia coach Bobby Williamson is unlikely to change his winning side against City Stars and will therefore, start with Jerim Onyango in goal with Musa Mohammed and David ‘Calabar’ Owino pillars in defence.
Ugandan import Dan Sserunkuma should lead the goal hunt again but perhaps this time with support from George ‘Blackberry’ Odhiambo. Winless United will be under pressure to open their first account in the season.
Coach Stanley Okumbi has recruited well by bringing on board the likes of Noah Abich and Hussein Zzinda. The two join an already experienced squad that is capable of stopping Gor Mahia.
Its reall trouble makers will be arrested. Intoxicated and bang smokers will be arrested as well.
Let us all have a peaceful & successful outing tomorrow.machakos here we come!
All will be fine. Even those troublemakers really fear the law . Why is there more emphasis on peace than even the game itself? Like we never lose games.
All will be well! We are not going to a battle field We’ll be going to support our team. Real Gor Mahia fans will be peaceful despite the out come of the match. Just to remind doubters… We are going to win!
Lets pray 4our players b4 they meet slum boys 2morrow
huwa 2nakwanga na peace saa zote sisi kama fans wa kogalo,2ngekuwa rude,hatukucheza,2ngechukua 2 hizo 3pts nd 4goals without playng
Was it only Ngala,Kilo & Ngala who were re elected? Remember these hated people got similar votes to AR and let the entire EC take collective responsibility. Life continues and my support for K’ogalo remains whether in win or loss, but comments negative or positive a must!
I pray for victory and at the same time for peace . Lets be different this year
3 points tomorrow. Can’t wait to watch my Kogalo.
Wishing GM another 2-NIL plus victory against MU
Now in the 1940s there was a company called Luo Thrift & Trading Co. 4 which Luos raised money ,then in 1997 we again raised money alledgedly 2 purchase shares in Kisumu Molasses Co only 2 b told that the amount raised was minimal (GM’s 2013 gate collections reduced to 9.1M ring a bell). Unless proper structures r put in place 4 the GM Sacco I see history viciously repeating itself.
LET’S PUT FOOTBALL & ONLY FOOTBALL FIRST AT GM.
The issue of a SACCO should totally be forgotten because nowhere in this world is a Club run by a Sacco! Clubs are mainly run through Sponsorship and we should not deceive ourselves that Gor is an exception. If we cannot rid Gor of these hooligans, then we should be ready to reap the price.
@odhiambo P Owuor, I think you do not know what you are talking about. Take a look at Barcelona, the club was run for many years without the jersey sponsors. It was only few years ago when it had secured two sponsors that is UNICEF and Qatar Foundation. Please stop confusing people here. Get your facts right that Catalans were running the club from the contributions from their wider community.
3ponts ,victory of 3-1 againts MU is already acomplished at MACHAKOS…thanks u boys and technical bench for that great job
Buddies I hope we are heading to Machakos to support the boys.
Gor set to unveil a new sponser courtesy of goal.com. Let peace prevail, God is answering our prayers

we are the best team in africa since ’09 be wary
@cafootball we r not banking on our past glory. Just bring ON your whatever to Nairobi. And then let the players do the talking on the pitch. Otherwise consult Omam Biyik of BITAM for further advise. GOR MAHIA is a legion. Does Seppuku Blatter know ur team?
